Why is this thread so abandoned?
I really liked the Castlevania series on Netflix and... of course, I had to focus on the games. So I bought the 4 EURO pack (Lords of Shadow 1 & 2 + Mirror of Fate HD).
• Lords of Shadow 2 is very nice - having no expectations helps, I assume
• Agony Unrated is curiously interesting
• Elite Dangerous - for occasional / casual stars strolling
• Call of Cthulhu - not sure what to make out of this one yet
• WoW BFA - logging in now and then for various walks around Azeroth (old dungeons, questing, lvling an alt)
• Destiny 2 is now downloading for testing purposes

I'm coming back to GTA5 to finish story mode and maybe make full solo achievments.
In between CS:GO and Dota 2.
What to play next?
Maybe Witcher 3, Elex or CoJ: Gunslinger or something else from not played/finished backlog.
Is there a reason to play Destiny 2 without DLCs/addons?

Nioh - i think its harder than souls games with all the fight combinations and stances; also waaaaay too much fucking loot. And if you're playing with k+m first hours are a pain in the ass since there are a lot of key combos and on screen are shown only controllers icons.

I'm playing Enderal: The crashes of loading screens right now.
Not sure I will finish it this time, but we'll see. I have 4 days off.
I started Far Cry 5 aswell, but it felt tedious to drive, fly or run around in the landscape from one point to the next. Exploration doesnt make alot of sense if there is nothing to discover.

Was playing Foundation for a day or two. Surprisingly good. Still very alpha and lots of features missing, but the main framework is there and working rather well.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/690830/Foundation/
I always like a non-grid based city builder and this is shaping up to be a good one. Decent graphics, modular monument building, seeds of a good economy-system, etc.
Especially like that it is entirely free-form. You can place buildings right on top of each other if you like, there is no collision box (villagers still need to be able to find their way around them and get to the entrance, but placing is not restricted). Of course you can cheat with this like hell. You can raise the capacity of any modular building by hiding capacity extensions inside the core, but as said, it is still very early access.
Some shots of my current village.
Spoiler: | |
For me it's a definite buy once my finances stabilise.
I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wish other big name city building games would at least try going free-form instead of sticking to the archaic grid. After playing a game like this others like the Anno games just feel restrictive.

Some bits of Shadowrun Hong Kong, Project Zomboid (custom server settings), Thief GOLD.
Doing a full run of Kingdom Come Deliverance and Pillars of Eternity II (not TB yet - since it's still early BETA and also bit too easy compared to the 'chaos' from RTwP).

Just got done with Prey this weekend, very unstable game with some other flaws, but boy was it a great ride! Fantastic story-telling through different indirect means, great level (and to that extent: world) design and atmosphere. The enemies, while not the smartest and most engaging to fight necessarily, were very interesting to me. The absolute freedom of the game is what really tied everything together for me, making my 1 playthrough close in on 60 hours, heh.
Been getting finally into Dirt Rally, feels great! That one's sort of filler though. Next I kind of want to go through Bayonetta, finally as well. Would be good now since it would also work as a warm-up for DMC5, which is so clooooose! ERMAGEEEERD! GIVE IT TO ME NOW!

I too had a really good time with Prey. The game got mixed reviews though, never quite understood why.

• Prince of Persia The Sands of Time
(fix for ws: http://ps2wide.net/pc.html#popst)
• Castlevania Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD
(the only type of game that I don't struggle with the controller - obviously, eh)
• Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire + Exp
(I like this more than the first; I am having a non-TB play-through first and next run will try TB - as by then it will be out of BETA)
• Assassin's Creed Odyssey
(looks impressive, it's surprisingly good but still can't give a verdict on how MUCH I like it)
• Kingdom Come Deliverance + some DLC
(love it, mastered the combat, taking my time, doing every single quest and exploring the map for various POI or treasures)
EDIT

It's quite... intriguing.
If one wouldn't know that Kant finds 'reason' / intellect it's... enlightenment 'source', putting it out of context, one would say that's quite a spiritual affirmation.
It's almost... a bit of Zen, hehe.
