The "adjustments" will be about content which isn't in the original version anyway. So there's no difference compared to the original in terms of missing/changing something.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

What bigotry I'd ask but that's probably super sensitive.
Spoiler: |
The ending for that bit on the new edition seem to revolve around the person not having issues and resorting to gender changing and being comfortably gay instead and open about it but I guess it's no good unless they hack the salami.
Meaning the problems that happened are no more and the events leading to this drastic change never occurred and the fictional video game character is happy as is.
|
Well what do I know. Going by forum reactions it's quite the uproar around how it was handled.
EDIT: On a similar note the crossdresser in Yakuza 3 seems to be gone in the re-release but that was something the original author seem to have regretted and how it was handled for comedic effect or something like that.
Doesn't seem like Catherine Full Body is doing it for comedic effect but this edition doesn't contain these changes and the new character.

Hmm that's more info than I had on it, changes what I knew.
Spoiler: |
Alien huh yeah that's not at all what I had on the character.
Gay man, traumatic past event, changes gender to woman.
Ending having some changes to time and past events via Catherine and her powers and now said character is living as a openly gay man instead of going through with surgery.

Almost finished this, I only have to do what seems the final challenge left.
Ok game, but man oh man are these cutscenes looong, and with the usual Japanese weirdness that makes you wonder how well they have been translated, or what the hell you are missing. Take the one with the ants for example! WTF

After having read some visual novels, the litteral translations are passable, but feel a bit weird. You often find official works change quite a lot of dialogue to make it more witty, give it more oomph etcetc. They can even go as far as to change personalities for characters. I never understood why they bother, especially when we hear the original words and phrases clear as day.
