Just look at that thread, why the hell does he take all that crap from those fuckwits? I just don't get it. This guy is sanctioned to ban their ass, and I don't know what more.
I think that when threads derail this bad, meaning: there's no longer any "Argument" to be found from one, or both parties, it just should end there.
Max, if you read this. Shit man, don't take it from those idiots. Ban their ass, the rest of the forum won't hold anything against you for it.

They sure are noisy, i dont mind that, but they could at least show some respect for the mod.

I can see what your saying, but as soon as a mod starts allowing person feelings to get in the way of the "possition" they hold, is the seccond this forum goes to shit. We are expected to take shit from users and only ban for the good of the forum, if a heated discussion rages it is upto us to calm it down, not to ban all those involved for having an opinion.
Like anyone on this forum, if something like this happens its best to simply walk away. However, heated discussion and flaming are very different, so should a user flame a mod, or anyone for that matter, they should expect a ban.
The above is my point of view on the topic, I can't speak for Max.

Where starforcefan is concerned you may be right. But if max is not offended, then I guess he doesn't think a ban is necessary.

hey i don't LIKE being hated on, but i get that daily in real life at work... online doesn't bother me anymore, I’m a big guy I can take care of myself.. however if i get into a shouting match with someone and then go and ban him, then that is playing right into his hand... i rather shoot down his points about me than ban him and make it easy for him... in life you have to develop thick skin or else you'll always get hurt emotionally or physically...
who cares we cleared that up and he went on arguing some other points with others...and he didn't flame anyone anymore..

i really like how max is "tanking" it. It takes a man to not be bothered by personal insults. Banning people for it, is just the easy way out and usually makes the mods look bad, if they can only counter an argument with banning peeps. Especially if the flak is coming from someone who is obviously not 'equipped' to handle internet-discussions AND more importantly I dont want another Fro to hate and ignore here... ...so thumbs up to max. Canadian policing-skills FTW!!!

well, to be exact, it was kinda my fault that you got banned. I worded something wrong when i told somebody about the nice pm you send me. I said that i must have offended you and now comes the tricky part, that a ban for me was in order. Had i said banning me was in order (like my intention was) the mod that did ban you, wouldnt have done so, i suppose, considering that alcohol seemed to be involved while the procedure took place =). I even wrote you a pm before that, saying that i was sorry, that i seemed to have offended you.
I guess, if you wouldnt have send that pm, nothing would have happened. Same goes for my smartass remark too, so perhaps we all should watch more what we are typing in the future

one- it is legal to download in canada
two- we would NEVER get a call like that, we have special task forces for those types of things..

On a serious note that (unt Starforcefan needs perm banning and all his old posts deleting.
Hes ruining all the threads with crap.
Could you IP check him because Im sure its someoe on the windup.
Noone can be that thick and display such arrogance .
In all my years on forums Ive never encounted such a poor standard of English and thats what leads me to think its a wind up.

Believe me mate I've experience on a lot of international forums and have never encountered such inconsistancies . One minute using terms not akin to a child and the next unforgivable spelling errors , but all the time with goal of trolling and causing unrest.
I see a deliberate attempt at disruption and think its a known member using a second account to annoy people. |
