Its the internet, people will go a long way to let everyone know theyre pissed.

I had issues with the loading time as well before moving it to SSD.

Also from the patch notes:

Patch made navigating Fort Tarsis bad. It used to be smooth and now it stutters like crazy. Also ended up getting stuck on post mission screen and had to kill it to get out of it. Sigh.

The reviewer has no idea about the game. If you think that story is incredibly difficult to follow or if you think you are forced to land frequently. Facepalm

Being forced to land at any point should not be allowed, but there are magical no flying areas just because the developers are lazy.

Also the story is one of the worst stories ever written for a game.

I feel sorry for anyone who does understand the story. I started to completely ignore it and spammed escape on any cutscenes/dialogue.

Makes it broken and easy for Storm with his armour going up while on air. You can reduce the cooldown via inscriptions and whatnot. Not an issue at all.

The cooldown barely takes more than a couple of seconds and last long enough. Not to forget when it rains or when near water, you can last super long. Other Javelins don't really need to stay on the air as it doesn't buff their javelins heavily like Storm.

The reviewer played Storm as main and she thinks you are forced to land "frequently" when that is not true at all.

Second, the story was awful and had nothing. It was one of the easiest to follow. So not sure how it was "incredibly difficult for the reviewer"

The other cons:

Not sure how playing with others causes pacing issue when in reality it actually works a lot better despite having stupid out of range timer/loading.

Solo is always tedious in such games...

Boss fights underwhelming - yeah, it's bad. Even more when you think they just used the final story boss in Heart of rage stronghold. So lazy. Embarassed

I'm guessing this is in reference to the silly "collect all 15 chest" missions where each person needs to find their own 15 chests. So what happens is you'll have 14/15 chests and your friend will have 3/15 chests. So you can't progress together.

Not really interested if they are going to fix specific things

They released one of the worst games in a long time.

They could fix a lot of issues and still have one of the worst games.

Because while it clearly isn't "the best game" or hasn't "the best story" ever, it sure as hello isn't the worst game ever with the worst story ever. Also, if you kept esc through the dialogue, how the fuck would you know? Anyway, you don't like the game, good for you, now kindly "fuck off" and look for something else to play and write about Smile Because coming back into a thread just to keep repeating yourself like you've been molested by the game does become quite tiresome and really doesn't add to the conversation.

Devs seem to be pretty active to fix all the bugs and what is planned in near future

I must say this comment of yours is at least as “autistic” as his rant.

Tastes differ and some people seem to find something in this game they like enough for them to play it. Means the game isnt “utter shit” to them. No?
And its not because on the other hand you like the game that you need to feel compelled to answer every criticizm that gets voiced. It seems the game has alot of issues.

hm I just checked, because of your post, because before my 6700k was at 74C when playing anthem and now it's at 60C Smile

(Alltho I think my cpu fan is about as full of dust as can be lol)

@couleur yes you are right, sorry.

Anyway, just recorded some post patch gameplay, because I've seen people saying it broke the game for them and well, I can't tell if those are single incidents or if a lot of people are having those issues, but I don't.

Oh and you can sprint now in the Hub ^^

Most games launched with the live service thing aren't this bad on launch though. EA is just beginning to wrap its head around the concept i think, most other companies have already figured it out by trial and error. EA is late to the party as always Laughing

Can you imagine what a hail mary Apex Legends has been for them? Especially with boss games failing before them. Laughing

How is it monetized?

You can buy 2 Skins, like 2 Materials and an emote, which You can buy with coins earned in-game as well.

Just playing to level 30 got me enough coins to buy either both skins or 1 skin and everything else.

There is nothing else monetized. There are no loot boxes, there are no boosters or anything else. For cash or coins.

And Crafting materials can be bought with coins only (not cash).

So I fail to see the problem there.

Also, you can personalize your Javelin a SHITLOAD without having to pay a dime (either dime), they have a huge selection of materials and colours, to which to play with.
