This is one of the best game ever.
Replayable value is 1000+ times and with all the mods out there it just is , atm, the TRUE 4x space game .
Actual competitors:
Moo3 - LOL !!!! do i have to add anything?
Moo2 - Both have strong points.. if you like moo2 than you'll like this one
GalCIV - Very little in common since galciv has very little of a true 4x game
Imperium Galactica - Same as above
Now if you have *ANY* SE4 version (is a game 5 years old) you don't need this since there is a patch to upgrade any se4 version to deluxe (tried it already), if you don't know se4 and like space empire games than this is the one ti pick till SE5 (due to release shortly) or GalCiv2

Great game. Worth playing. Good, old style turn based strategy.
