fucking hell, stuff like hand cleaners and toilet bowl cleaners and they say "cleans %99.999999999999 of all bacteria"

well you know ,when i see that, i dont say "oh well that is pretty clean" i automatically think "if i get sick from something that they failed to protect me from, there is no way i could sue them because they will blame it on that %0.0000000000000000000001 tthat got away"

bah talk about this very important issue, fuck wars, this is everyday life people.

Well the strands of bacteria are so diverse there's almost always going to be a tiny bit that is immune to the disinfectant. Razz

I'm more concerned with hot dog buns myself.. they always split in half goddamnit, where's some good quality hot dog buns?

It's all about the money man. I used to buy the cheapo grocery store hotdog buns and they would fall apart. If you buy a brand name you will have to spend a bit more but will have yourself a quality bun that wont split.

I hate cheap toilet paper. That's the absolute worst. Give me 2-ply or give me death.

Some research shows that the toilet is the cleanest place in an average house. Because people think its a dirty place, they tend to clean it alot, so its actually very clean. Cleaner then, let say your livingroom, so if you want to eat something without getting germs, go eat in your toilet instead of your livingroom.

i'll tell you something. You know what is considered clean in terms of sterile products? a reduction of 10^12. And what a coincidence: "%99.999999999999 of all bacteria" thats 10^-12 left.

Your face/ hands/ body is full of bacterias anyway.

Another fact: 90% of the bacterias is positif or neutral. Only a few cause diseases. And those that cause diseases mostly require special growth conditions. And your body needs to be weakened as well to become sick.

And another fact, the biggest diseases are caused by virusses.

I think all this anti bacterial stuff with be the death of us all. All were are doing is breading stronger and stronger bacteria. Laws of evolution.

They have done studys to that if children are not exposed to bacteria, that they will have more allergys and lower immune systems. Farm or rural kids that are exposed to much more than city kids have much a much stronger imune system and get less serious illnesses.

@Lutzifer

i know quite a lot of bacterias and stuff. Thats what i study Smile

my courses this year

General Microbiology
Analytical Organic Chemistry
Cell Biology
Animal Production
Crop Protection
Immunology and Protein Chemistry
Microbial Ecological Processes
Modelling and Simulation of Biosystems
Molecular Biology and Genetics
Engineering
Statistical Data Processing
Applied Genetics

All those products are bullshit, you know what we use to create sterile environments when we are breading some bacteria cultures? Alcohol + fire and normal soap. And supercritical steam @ 120°C, kills everything.
