Really? I thought the hump was a lot more hostile a few years back with outright wars in World News which spread elsewhere.
Perhaps I've grown thicker skin, become desensitized or your break from the hump have made you forget how harsh things could be here before. Of course, the hump is smaller now and with a few exceptions the most explosive users have left.

Some people spread alot of hostility (in the name of trolling) even outside WN. Though imo its better than two years ago.
WN got alot better once a certain person got permanently banned.

Well, it certainly got better after he called everyone disagreeing an idiot and went on pages-long rageposts. Made the Hump a better place and saved it from becoming a "far right facebook site", the center now starts at the far left like it should be

I can't believe how much bullshit is dropped on Sabin behind his back (or chest, whatever). Sure, he had a volatile temper/emotional issues (which I'm sure many others have) but we're @ page 4 in this "slam Sabin"-thread. Can we just stop it already? I personally didn't have any problems with Sabin (unless I've forgotten about it, something I tend to do).

My problem with his tantrums has been that he shuts off completely and any attempted help or any coherent conversation really goes out of the window, making me feel like a fool. There are quite a few assholes here that I don't care about, but Sabin has always been a nice guy which I tried to get along with and be friendly. I don't always agree with him. If on every disagreement, he throws a tantrum, that's unhealthy for the entire forum. |

TBF I never knew or noticed his depression until it was pointed out to me.
I feel like he was more oversensitive, taking insignificant disagreements personal and generally treating ppl like shit faster than others, among other asshole behavior that I didn't like about him.
Depression is not an excuse for being a dick.
