Dammit what a bunch of turdy movies I've managed to download (I couldn't finish any of them, let alone last 30 minutes).

Mile 22 - 5/10 - chaotic and I hated Wahlberg's character. Shitty try at imitating much better movies.
Han Solo - 6.5/10 - a nice action flick but also boring.

Bird box: 6/10

Basically a better done version of that M night garbage movie. Zero answers or clues given though to biggest plot holes of the story. Ending also dumb. Then you go on fb and see all those shill posts about "people are fainting from watching birdbox" or "birdbox is the most terrifying movie of life" like stfu im a pussy when it comes to scary movies and this movie was a joke for me. Fucking paid advertisements.

Fantastic Beasts - Grindelwald: 5/10
Formulaic and not very interesting with Potter-fan-service.

Bird Box: 7.5/10
Nice surprise, had low expectations after reading comments

Black Mirror - Bandersnatch: 9/10

I watched/selected multiple paths and discovered various endings. It's a brilliant show, esp. if you're in your 40'ies, had a Spectrum 48k or C64, listened to electronic music in the 80'ies (Tangerine Dream etc.), loved games like Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy etc. since it's such a nostalgic trip. It's also a blend of horror, a meta-narrative where you control (or do you?), trippy and fun. You can watch the ripped release but then you're just getting a single event line without choices. Watch it on Netflix and you'll control the show and events.

I thought Hostiles was very good. It's a slow burner, true.

The Clovehitch Killer 6/10

Too many frustrating moments to enjoy this. The premise was nice and all, but the kid's reaction to the situation was too unconvincing (the moment with the father in the woods, you'll know it). I get it, small community and religious and naive people all around, but come on. Rolling Eyes
The ending was really bad as well.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

The Monica Equalizer 2 - 7/10

A solid second chapter starring the great Denzel, competently directed and written. Doesn't dispense many wow factors but it tells a revenge story with very satisfying old-school action-y vibes, always pleasant considering the poor Hollibooian context.
