soon at 'max' level (at which point you don't get stats anymore, just more perk cards) 47 (50 max), it's reasonably fast to level, the game is quite challenging in the end. You need to really grind to get good recipes / unlock mods for guns to make them worthwhile.
I'm currently using still a hunting and combat rifle, modded to max. It just takes like ~60 screws to mod out one gun... and they're annoying to find :I
The game is fun if you like scavenging in general. The lore is very much fallout style, very funny things (like a tasting results @ nuka cola plant / 'secret' ingredients of different versions of nuka cola
I haven't had really any bugs, and only 2 disconnections since the release (~20-30 hours in). The most 'probable' bugs you'll encounter are that you accidentally drop into some hole you cannot get out of and have to quit / fast travel (fast travel only possible if there are no enemies nearby)
Still haven't been ganked or even attacked by a player once.
The game has a nice potential, provided they bring in all the QoL features + expand it more (nothing says they could NOT bring in npcs even, ie raider factions etc.)
The game has 'some' kind of scaling in it, which is very weird... My friend did a quest around at level 30 something, and it was piss easy for him. He was fighting low level robots etc.... I did the same quest at level 45, and I met 2 x elite level 50 gutsy and an elite assaultron. The assaultron just instagibbed me and I had to chuck million grenades to kill the gutsies + use stealthboy to get past the assaultron. I also visited one of the last areas of the game at low level <20 -> it had like level 14 bots there... I teleported out and went back a bit later and it was filled with 50s and assaultrons etc.

when the gaming 'press' ( aka whores these days ) has promised bethesda to write about their game but cant find anything good to write , u get a gamer girl to write about taking selfies and stills, screenshots trying to hide the ugly ass gfx , well ill be damned she was able to make 5 screenshots wow ... half of which still show shit gfx
Agreed. Another mindless MMO with absolutely no substance. It's a far cry from the original and 2nd game, and I'm not talking about the visuals.
Not an MMO. Not even by stretching its meaning.
Alright. Co-op focused gaming then. No human NPC characters, besides other players. I'd call that multiplayer.
Yeah, but you know... there are 2 M's in MMO. That first one stands for Massive. So you can call it Multiplayer as much as you want. It still don't make it an MMO, especially not with 20 players per server.
I'm glad I watched the live stream when Todd presented it and I became so sorely disappointed. At that moment I knew I wouldn't buy it (and definitely not pre-order it).
Fallout 76's first major patch is out now on PlayStation 4, and Bethesda wasn't kidding when it warned it would be big.
The patch, which we're downloading now, weighs in at a whopping 47.258GB. Fallout 76 itself on PS4 takes up 53.04GB.
Bethesda has said the patch brings with it fixes for quests, the user interface, camps and more. It focuses on game performance and stability on all platforms.
"This update will be large compared to what we expect for patches going forward," Bethesda said.
"Regular updates will always vary in size, but future updates should be much smaller in comparison."
They do expect future updates to be smaller though, 40 - 46 GB or thereabouts I suppose then.
- UK retail sales only.
- Fallout 4 shipped 12M!!! copies in 24 hours. (Shipped doesn't mean sold, sure, but it does mean retailers were buying copies of the game like crazy, which means there was a lot of perceived demand).
Sorry, but that wasn't going to happen with this game no matter what, and no one from its makers (developers, producers, or marketing team) expected it to.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

fallout 5 with multiplayer would have sold really well, this shit however ....
It seems as if the engine was updated to allow games to run at more than 60fps. People report playing the game at 144hz with no issue with the new patch.
Hey now, don't go besmirching the noble profession of whore by comparing them to the worthless subhumans that are modern gaming journalists!

One of those few games that actually piss me off that people are giving them money.
In my defense I used a grey-market site because I was REALLY curious if it would end up as broken as it was hyped up to be. No fucking way I'd ever pay full price.
The most they got out of me was a wholesale pricetag from some cheapo country.
All Humpers, my friends (and some I class as acquaintances),
DO NOT PAY A CENT/DIME/ÖRE for Fallout 76.
By spending your money on it you're supporting the people who made the choice to release a disaster full of letdowns, bugs, boredom, emptiness, annoyances and pointlessness while charging you full price and adding micro-transactions.

I wonder how the word 'black' translates from english to spanish and if the spensh use it publicly just as (shakily) legit as english-speaking countries/areas/people use the english version of the word to describe africans, african-americans and so on. I imagine there must have been many misunderstandings over the years between hispanics and african-americans.
