The 2060 won't have RTX so it's not even part of the equation. Seeing how things are NV might as well have skipped it for the 2070 (and even the 2080) but they want your money and they'll sell boatloads of 20x0-cards (incl. unreleased variants like 2060, 2050, 2030 and perhaps more).

I know, that if and when I change m current setup (2x 970), I don't give a flying fuck about something like hair works or RTX or whatever else fancy graphics/physics enhancement, that will only be used in a rare few titles and tbh I can't see the difference while playing anyway.
Also, I am still @1080p and I don't see myself changing screens (I have an Asus 27" IPS screen) in the near future unless I win the lottery, which I don't play ^^

Multiple grey sites have it for around 48USD, but you wouldn't play right away, as that's the "normal" version which releases in a few days.
It's possible to use a free trial to Origin Access to get access to the game for 10 hours + the discount if you want to buy it straight from Origin. I think using a free trial for this is a good way to see if you like the game + can tide you over until the full release. Without a free trial you can also get the subscription for 5$.
The 15$ subscription has full access to the game right away, as if you owned it, with unlimited hours + deluxe benefits. Obviously you don't keep the game if the subscription ends, unless you buy it (still get access to the discount).
Users with Origin Access Premier (I think its exclusive to premier) can invite users to a free trial of Origin Access. People have been sharing invite links across different communities (forums, reddit). Afaik it's a free trial of Origin Access basic, not premier, so it still give access to many games and 10 hours of BF5, just not unlimited BF5.
The free trial promotion is meant to have BF5 users invite their friends.

And long gone are times of hatred. Too tired for bashing and calling EA names, too tired to call myself disappointed. The game has moved away from what the older BF fans were expecting. It had, actually, done this since BF4, but we, in our stubbornness, refused to accept this.
Guess it's now time for a change.
Not sure if I'll buy it (playing it now via Premier), but I am willing to give it some chances. Perhaps something or some things will change.

...and DICE is slowly declining under EA's managment just like Bioware and the other once great studios that are basically nothing more than factories china-style, churning out yearly or even half-yearly lackluster products because of the demands from the economics department (and the top) while getting less resources to work with leading to worse games (and how happy can a programmer in a studio bought by EA be after 5 years?).

That number probably doesn't exist, as it was removed because of SMS scams, the SMS you were inteded to send would have probably costed you $20
