Yeah, which is sad because I didn't like GTA Online mostly because how slow it was to just get in.

I do hope they remake RDR, I mean they have the map sorted for the most part.

If they charged 50-60 dollars for it I wouldn't mind.

Nothing wrong with the ending.

The acceptance and redemption was pretty good.

Quote:
While Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world game, it still has its limits. The most obvious example is that the edges of the world are blocked by invisible walls, a common occurrence in most games. This barrier prevents players from traveling to Mexico, but some people have found a way across the border.
YouTuber ZarCoxTV has made his way to Mexico thanks to a slight “crack” in the wall. It’s worth noting that you’ll need to complete the campaign to access these areas of the map.

Father came by so naturally I wanted to show him rdr2 ending... but the video I had bookmarked is gone... and so is every other rdr2 ending video without commentary.
Is rockstar really taking down rdr2 ending of youtube? wtf

I don't understand why put sooo much development time into all the eating, hunting, fishing buffs, crafting, items or whatever if you don't even need them.

I don't do any of this crap and I'm just flying through the game with manual aiming. Where are the difficulty levels??

That's my biggest problem with this game. Otherwise I love it, but definitely NOT for the dated combat gameplay. Aiming, hiding and controls are mediocre and very unresponsive Sad I really expected them to redo it and focus on the core gameplay.

What the hell is going on with the controls, feels fucking hard at times, i have died many times because of these shit controls. Otherwise the game feels amazing, jesus the athmosphere is so good, graphics are amazing aswell (little blurry picture tho on PS4pro, bad upscaling method used here or something).

In the latest South Park episode the chief of police, Al Gore and Satan kept talking about playing Red Dead Redemption 2 lol.

Then later the chief of police's wife plays over his save and advances in the game. They mention Valentine and Blackwater, upgrading horses, robbing stagecoaches. You could tell Matt and Trey have been playing some RDR2.

This game is looong, it's been eating up my game time. This is easily the best open world ever created IMO, it feels very natural and alive. I didn't have this much fun with a game since Witcher 3.

I am over 120 hours in and still so much to do.
The world is just so very captivating, I don't think I'll be able to go back to an open world game after this again.

https://www.theverge.com/2018/11/26/18112314/red-dead-redemption-2-online-beta-release-date-ps4-xbox

Quote:
Almost exactly a month after Red Dead Redemption 2 launched, developer Rockstar has announced that the game’s online mode will start rolling out this week. The beta for Red Dead Online will actually be available tomorrow for some users, as Rockstar is staggering the launch, likely to avoid the server issues that plagued GTA Online when it debuted several years ago.

Those who purchased the “ultimate edition” of the game will have access to the Red Dead Online beta starting on Tuesday, November 27th, and on Wednesday, it will open up to anyone who played Red Dead Redemption 2 when it launched on October 26th. On Thursday, anyone who played the game between October 26th and 29th can access the beta, and it will finally open up to everyone on Friday, November 30th. The online spinoff is free for anyone who owns the base game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

I sure hope there is some sort of single player DLC no matter how unlikely.

RDO is basically Rockstar raping the 90% of players who don't want to do microtransactions.

It's fun enough, but in order to purchase other outfits / weapons / etc. you either have to end your social life, quit your job, and just grind 24/7 OR go microtransactions.

You get paid something like $4 dollars for a mission, and things are way overpriced. $125 for a bow? That thing better be made of the rarest wood, decorated with gold and gems.

Pistols start at $450 and go all the way up to $1000.

Setting seems to be before RDR2, so there must have been a huge ass economic crisis around 1899 that dropped the prices of everything.

And they also charge you like $1 per day for having a camp and 75 cents for a stabled horse. I'm at like $60 after 7ish hours of play, and while I'll play the deathmatches and the sort for a bit, I doubt I'll last long.
