I've just realised the installation created no uninstaller, even though I checked the option. So, how do I remove the game properly once I get bored / am finished with it...? I hate cleaning shit up in the registry manually.

Run the installer again and install over it? And make sure it actually adds an uninstaller this time.

Yeah, will try that, although I can't quite fathom why no uninstaller was added the first time despite me checking the option.

I was underwhelmed with this. I prefer the original to this one. As someone else said, it's playing like one big tutorial and doesn't make me particularly interested in tweaking/optimizing my hospital.

The game is easy when you continue to the next map the moment you get a single star.
Try to get 3 stars, and it becomes a bit harder Razz

Doing the nuclear plant hospital now, and with the small space spread out over 5, 6 buildings you need to acquire, dumb doctors/nurses you need to train, and low cash at the start, it's certainly no walk in the park.
It's just easy in the sense that you almost can't go bankrupt, so you don't have to start over every time. But that doesn't mean you have a good running hospital Smile

Yeah, the game becomes harder on the later levels like Flemington for example. I now try to 3 star the lower ones before i move on.

Its a good game, tho i wish some stuff would be more explained so i dont have to restart a level after i figured out how this or that works.

I feel like something is missing - I did the first three hospitals and it gets very repetitive. The odd thing is, I can't quite say what's wrong compared to Theme Hospital which I enjoyed a lot more last time I played it. Maybe they streamlined it a bit too much? I'd have to play Theme Hospital to find out what makes me grow tired of this one.

It gets more variety after the University Hospital with the focus on training staff which i think was Hospital 5, before that its just simple tutorials to get the basics running.

Does it? I was pretty chilled about everything, including all stars at flemington, which was mentioned here previously. I mean the hosptital didn't run too well, with people dying and waiting and leaving angrily, but I was rolling in cash and getting the 3rd start was nothing but a question of time. Training people I did just when I felt like it and usually I grouped similar people together for time efficiency, so that my hospital lost all psychiatrists or all general diagnosticians or all janitors. Didn't really matter...

Lets hope this doesnt turn into a DLC Hospital.

Just checked Steam and the price for the DLC is really cheap, just 9 bucks. Thats impressive.

Honestly, given the wonderful state the game was released in (fully playable day 1 with only a few minor issues every now and then), I'm not even mad these guys are releasing DLC. They're also doing so at a respectable price point given what's included. Might just buy this pack and jump into the game again!

Bit late, as this happened on May 9th, 2019, but just in case anyone was interested - Sega bought up the studio behind this.

Quote:

Sega have snapped up another PC strategy studio, today announcing they’ve bought Two Point Hospital developers Two Point Studios. They haven’t stated the English studio’s price, but I trust payment was made in the form of a giant novelty cheque. Sega note that Two Point have “several” unannounced projects in the pipeline, in a dry business-y way, while the studio themselves just shouted on Twitter that “You can bet your bottom this means new, exciting management sims coming from us!”
