I'm a bit late with this so people that follow the blog probably read it already. A great read though! Swen explains how DC could have been better at release and why it wasn't the case. A big patch for it is also in TestingLand apparently. Smile

Interesting, also unfortunate then that those sale charts comparisons usually only show retailer sales and don't cover digital sales. Smile

EDIT: Rest of the article was also very interesting, sounds good for Divinity: Original Sin as well.

Read that yesterday, thought it was fake since Larian doing a grand scale serious cRPG seemed odd but eh maybe.
Divine Divinity had some moments were it wasn't slapstick or joking about as did Beyond Divinity though after that it's been mainly fun and humor with some brief serious story moment.

Baldurs Gate 3 isn't a one million Kickstarter project either but would take more resources and time well depending on what they do with it I suppose but if they're trying to replicate what the last two games did that's going to be a pretty massive task.
Wizards of the Coast would probably want to use the latest ruleset and such I assume unless they can negotiate for using a older or customized version, granted even games like Temple of Elemental Evil simplify a few things down to more manageable form.


Will be fun to hear more about it if it turns out to be true but I have some doubts but we shall see. Smile
