Case: Fractal Design Define Nano S Windowed Mini-ITX Case

CPU: Intel Core i5 8600K

Cooling: Noctua NH-L9x65 Low-Profile CPU Cooler

MB: Gigabyte H370N WIFI LGA 1151-2 Mini ITX Motherboard

RAM: 2 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (1x 8GB) DDR4 2400MHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Founders Edition 8GB Video Card

PSU: Thermaltake SMART RGB 600W 80 PLUS Power Supply

Already have SSD. Needs to fit in a 33cm x 33cm x 40cm space. The monitor will be 1440p

Considering the price of the GTX2080ti, I can literally buy a new PC for the living room at the same price

$2033.00 (~1493USD)

Any foreseeable issues or easy ways to bring the cost down even further?

that's pretty much what I'm aiming for my 'regular' PC update Laughing
if you're not going to OC it the non-K CPU is something like 25$ cheaper.. but that's a poor saving Smile

Founders edition wtf?

also are you going to exclusively play on it?

if not go Ryzen

you could also pinch ~25 bucks for a 500W PSU but not really worth it..

but a 500W PS for 1080 might be risky

Founders edition is a sucky air blower - it's a noisy and inefficient cooler.
Pay even $50 more for a reference design that is much more efficient, silent and lower temps. Also higher clocks
I prefer msi gaming editions

500w is easily enough for a 1080, even a 1080 ti for working together with an oced i7

This. The only case where I’d consider a blower would be a Dan A4-SFX case. Or if you’re going with an aftermarket cooler/ water.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
