True. Youtube (and indeed most social outlets) is a privately owned company and they can choose whatever they want to allow or not.
Would you have this attitude if youtube silenced someone rational because some purple haired fat monster of a feminist suggested it? I highly doubt it. Then youtube would have a social responsibility because of their position to be above such things and be partial etcetcetcetc.....

Again, there's no law demanding free speech on a privately owned platform. Youtube (or Company X or whatever) have their own internal policies and an interest in keeping the users of the platform happy.
Sure, I might get pissed for whatever reason but that's MY problem, not youtube's or anybody else's (unless they get pissed off too). If that happens I can choose to not use that platform if I'm so inclined.
Besides, in most countries free speech is lower on the list than hate speech when it comes to laws and regulations.
Censorship is what countries like China or Turkey are doing, this is not it.

As usual with the humps and other media, it's one extreme or the other. There is a middle road and barely no one is walking it. The ONLY time i support suppression of speech is if it can lead to harmful actions towards individuals or groups or bullying of individuals.

Free speech is only a thing as long as we dont disagree completely with whats being said.
And please dont take this to the level of having to discuss the existstence of rules so free speech isnt absolute. Everyone above 4 or 5 knows that.

Freedom of speech is mostly a symbolic tool these days mainly claimed by right wing extremists as well as left wing extremists.
We are all responsible for our own actions and those that fail to consider the fact that they're not the only person on the planet will blindly go on a crusade to claim their freedom of speech so they can abuse it and spew all their insanity on the world with impunity.
Part of being human is being able to control your output. Without that kind of filter humanity would probably not exist in it's current form. Not considering other peoples views and experience is the biggest flaw of people with inflated egos.
