Will play in a bit and post some thoughts! This one kinda caught me by surprise in terms of being released - forgot all about it!

Today Is the Police 2: The Early Cop Catches The Crook! What’s wrong with our publishing buttons? Somebody write us a ticket: after forgetting to press the “Go Live” button for the original This Is the Police PC release, this time we pressed it a bit too early… So ignore our previous 2nd August release date: This Is the Police 2 is OUT… NOW! And that two-day head start is good, as Sharpwood desperately needs a new Sheriff. We hope you’re ready to report for duty.
Hmmm how the heck do you proceed with the 1st mission? It says Outfin and assign your strike team...I assign for points A & B but then I cannot proceed because there is no option on how to outfit?
P.S. Screw it...found it...was looking to fill the wrong section
Pro tip - DO NOT take Mr. Miyagi (the Asian guy that wears his tie around his forehead) on any tactical deployments (the brown cards where you have to command your men).
Turns out, he "doesn't like you", ergo will not "follow orders" (code for the AI controls him with no input from you). The worthless fuck-stick shot out the front window while my guys were still dealing with two perps outside - ended up in a huge gunbattle and got pretty much everyone killed.
And oh yea - the fucking interface in this game during the turn based mode is entirely hidden behind menus and sub-menus on a wheel. I hope you can remember which of your guys has what active/passive perks - because otherwise you're going to have to dig through the wheel every time to see what SHOULD BE at-a-glance information.
These guys must have taken UI design notes from No Mans Sky.

Balance Improvements:
Your starting team of cops is better now
Professionalism requirement for calls is lowered for the first week (and for some other portions of the game)
The game punishes you less for escaped offenders, killed civilians and skipped tactical missions
The game rewards you more for closed investigations and destroyed gangs
Guess it's time to start over - as the "death spiral" the PC Gamer review mentioned is very real. Hopefully this fixes it somewhat.

Balance Improvements:
You get rewarded more for arresting criminals and punished less for missing them.
Professionalism requirements are lower for all missions now
You starting team of cops is much better now
Your cops don’t lose stamina points just for coming in to work, only for actually doing something
Your cops fully recover their stamina after a day off
Your cops don’t lose stamina points for responding to false alarms
Tab prices for cops and equipments are revised
Your cops don’t come up with excuses and stay home as often as they used to
Your cops don’t drink as much as they used to (weird, right?)
Bug Fixes:
Fixes an issue in investigation screen that would result in duplicated frames and block progress
Some fixes to text
Seems the devs realized rather quickly that the balance in the release version was completely fucked. At least they're taking steps to fix it!
