Bought a used steam account, played about 10h and I'm not sold. The movement mechanics feel floaty and I'm borderline repulsed by the shooting mechanics. The game desparately needs something like a shooting range to practice recoil control.

Match 3 of Day 2 from FPP tournmant was great. Most games were pretty good tho, despite some trying to cheese their way through the tournament (/point Team Liquid).

I love this game EXCEPT for the shooting. I can aim and shoot dead center on someone and still get killed with a single shot by my opponent. Something about it all feels off - as if my bullets don't get registered or you have to aim a particular way. In any case, I used to get way more kills. Now it feels like my opponents soak bullets like sponges.

The netcode has been very sketchy after the Sanhok update, this is probably why you have those problems. The last two weeks have been better, but before that the situation was hitting a critical state. I got killed numerous times in cover and the shots were clearly not registering all the time.

Yeah, sometimes enemies feel unhittable and then I take a look at the killcam and it doesn't make it much clearer how they got to hit me while their crosshair was off by a mile.. Oh and that I totally overestimated the amount of cover a shitty pickup truck can provide Laughing

I think the only real complaint about movement is that the character doesn't slide past objects (common problem in non-AAA shooters). Movement animations are often interrupted when passing by objects because the characters gets stuck. This can be annoying and it takes some time to get used with.
There was some talk about improving the animations when the roadmap was released. I'm not sure if this will happen anytime soon. Limb penetration was announced back in March-April and it's arriving to test servers just now...

My sentiment as well. Recoil is sometimes completely unpredictable. I might be aiming at someone but as soon as I pull the trigger I seem to be hitting everywhere around except my target. It's like the shootout scene from AliG : https://coub.com/view/68m7f

Another thing I forgot to mention is that currently the hits to hand/legs do minimal damage. This is why they are adding limb penetration. So you might think the enemies are spongy if you don't hit them in torso/head.
