I guess there will be re-packed carts? Or they'll just dump the DLC onto the SD and load it some how. These issues will be resolved in the coming months no doubt...

Eshop support nice, now we just need more eshop dumps. I will probably wait until a simpler method is available rather than installing layeredFS and devmenu.

Now that is interesting. Hadn't considered doing that. But what does it actually achieve? I mean, you're just swapping one interface for another right? Both interfaces list the games and you scroll right to find the game you want!

I think Celeste is one of the main ones, but that might not be of any intertest to you depending if you have played it on steam.

You still need to mount the XCI to be able to play a cart.
For eShop games, you don't, they are playable directly from the main UI.

I don't really understand TX instructions re getting eShop titles to work. However, it looks quite complicated and may be work waiting until it's a bit easier? Has anyone seen a good guide on how to do it end to end (e.g. LayeredFS, DevMenu, etc)?

Crap loads of eShop games released. Also found I'm not banned (do they ban account or console? my console hadn't been linked to a Nintendo account so did that and was able to access eShop), so grabbed Pokemon so I can do the layeredFS thing to get devmenu up and then install stuff.
Still on the bench about the whole installing games vs using TX loader. If you just emulate the cart, you can keep the game in a nice file name on the SD vs garbage folder names. Plus if you need more space on your SD card you can just move games off more easy.
Certainly plan to isntall the eShop stuff though, although I wonder if there is a way to convert eShop to Cart?

DevMenu wasn't loading for me - hit a black screen. Found a solution relating to archive flags on files on your SD card, see below if needed

MAC (Tested, working)
* Load terminal
* Type the following commend, where SDCARD is the name of your Micro SD card:
** sudo chflags -R arch "/Volumes/SDCARD"
* Enter your password, wait, eject the card and then profit
WINDOWS (Not tested, try it and let me know - test at your own risk)
* Load notepad
* Type the following into Notepad, where directory_path is the location of your Micro SD card in WIndows:
** for /F %i in (‘dir /s /b directory_path ‘) do attrib -A %i
* Save the file as lolz.bat or something
* Locate lolz.bat and run it in Windows.
* To debug, you can open CMD, browse to the folder containing lolz.bat, and then type lolz.bat and hit enter
* Eject the card and then profit

Yep had the same issue too. Was scratching my hair for a little while because of these.
DevMenu actually works with quite a lot of games after all. A smaller one is Megaman collection.

If you want a smaller game than South Park you can get Megaman Legacy, works too... You can also install Pokemon Quest NSP anyway from one of these and then just use Pokemon Quest which is the smallest AFAIK (200MB).
But I didn't test every one of them.

My bad we need you to instabuy every game so Nintendo has a little money. Please wait till Metroid 4 is released so you can buy the console for $5 less than today by then

I got my switch yesterday. Ordered SX Pro but from China and takes another month.
The source where I downloaded all the switch games from, had a lengthy guide on how to prepare the images to make them work. The source went up in smokes a day after I downloaded all the images and now the guide is gone as well.
Can you tell me if there is anything specific that needs to be done to the xci's or nsp's before I can use them? Do I have to extract my own certificate and merge them into the images or what needs to be done?
