Another great episode, so much tension! Got me on the edge of my seat nearly the whole time
Also, I love how the show enacts space physics in nearly every ep. That scene with Tilly's tears that wouldn't leave her eyes was beautiful and really well done, just to name one.
The one thing I don't understand with the show's physics, is why they feel the constant G force in space. In the first episodes from this season, Avasarala nearly dies for flying in constant 6G with that superfast ship, but normally that would only be during the acceleration, no?
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

wasn't it like that? I recall in that part they were only accelerating occasionally to stay out of range and only then were the g forces an issue. They stopped the acceleration occasionally to get time to rest from the G forces.

They were constantly accelerating during that scene. Those ships achieve pretty large speeds and with limited Gs it takes a long while to accelerate to maximum speed. (If the ships are going at the maximum speed of light, it would take months to safely accelerate)
Ah, ok. From what was shown on the ship's computer, it seemed they were going just as fast as the ship following them, and stayed just slightly out of reach.
So that means that the ship in pursuit was going a hell of a lot faster than them, as even with their extreme acceleration they couldn't escape it?
Avoid. There's a 25m sequence that's misplaced and plays further down the finale.
jup, i just discovered it also, didnt watch it this morning..
SO YES; AVOID THIS RELEASE!!!!!!!
Nuke´d..Why?

Note:
Segments out of order on the other group, crap source as well.
If you're going to race do it from a source equal to or better than ours.
i.e. stop racing nbc, syfy, tbs, usa, abc, freeform time compressed sources,
makes hdtv just that little bit more pointless in the face of web.
Nonono... i disagree....
Just checked it myself. its all fine..
using mpchc, madvr, LavFilters..
Defo something's fucked up with mine - I also use the same set you do, even updated everything to the newest versions, still the same. Redownloading from the same source (both eps rared together and split into 10 parts) didn't solve it. End the rars unpack just fine, so it's not a corrupted archive problem. Guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow for a different source.
Yep really good sci find for a change, I reckon Amazon is got a great deal here.. it's literally at the tipping point for fandom here.. sci-fi will be kicking themselves after another season.
Great finale, but I am ready for a lot of disappointment the coming season. Books 4-6 were good reads, but the alien plot becomes background noise and we get to deal with a lot of cliche human drama I didn't read 7 and 8 yet.
If you want to know what's to come, read this review of book 4. I agree with most of it. The book author has an awesome writing style that keeps you reading, but he has no idea how to progress the major plot (I assume the alien thing is the major plot).
It's spoiler I guess, but I hope it's not since I'm praying the show writers will skip most of this crap.
I don't think it fully made sense that burnt belter guy went crazy in the finale.. he had been the voice of reason for last 5 episodes then all of a sudden went crazy (His logic somewhat made sense). To me would have made much more sense reversing the 2 belter captain's roles, he was doing a better job on the acting front too
I've started to resume Book 4 now (about halfway through)...can't resist, too curious to see where that goes.
It's not that great though and it now sounds like it's not going to get any better. Gotta have to see for myself though.
They will somewhat compress the boring parts in the TV show, I hope, and also come up with some new stuff like they did in previous Seasons. Now that it's rid of SyFy it will turn out to be a good thing for the series.
I just finished bingexpansing the third season after being slowed down by the Ring network, it definitely was another engaging one. I don't know if the show will ever make the big wormhole jump from good to great for me, but it's always a pleasure to witness to such competent production values, direction and visuals giving proper sci-fi vibes without compromises or ghetto FX coming from someone's IBM PC (Syfy pulled off a miracle and didn't even realize it, silly melons).
The story progressed in a hectic way with good pacing, mystery and pleasant new entries. Nothing mind-blowing of course (some inevitable campy bits here and there) but in general it was devoid of facepalms which are always the scariest threats in such extraterrestrial situations.
Another plus was the actors/characters that I typically stomach the least not having excessively long dialogues this season (Patty and Selma's lost sister and the Kiwi Snu-snu for instance); I didn't even mind Holden, the writing for him was captivating (it reminded me of Mass-Effect 1 ) and some emotions crept through the frozen squinty-eyed stance.
As someone who hasn't read anything about this universe I just hope Amazon will invest properly into future beltalowda seasons. The scifiow must proceed at full-speed, beratna!
