Me neither but I'll give it a chance since it's a new approach. Something refreshing for a change. It might turn to shit, but I like that they take risks,
Well, this was weird. Saw they released this. Got excited. Went to the steam page and read the features... And found out they made an expansion that has absolutely nothing to do with any of the reasons that Prey was my second favorite game of the year (if it wouldn't have been for Persona 5 it would have been my number one by far)... Not sure I understand what's happening to gaming anymore.
yeah game still has Denvuo, and instead of the .exe having it, they changed to .dll style like WatchDogs and Far Cry.
EDIT: oh lol nevermind:

Wow! Mooncrash is a seperate game and completely denuvoless: You can play it using any steam emulator out there and some exe parameters: "Prey.exe -loadFrom=Whiplash -dlc=865670 -skipArkIntro" - I tested it with SmartSteamEmu and it worked in an instant.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
For some reason, the DLC runs at 35fps MAX. Even on the lowest setting, there is no change.

I started the game, played 1,5h was about to end the level and saw that there were skins for the weapons, as I was browsing weapons and skins the game crashed..

there is no load/save
DO NOT VIEW/CHANGE WEAPON SKINS!!
Weapon skins? are these available in the base game as well?
I don't know, they weren't in the base game, but I haven't started it since the patch
it's an option when you right-click on a weapon in the inventory and there is a new option SKINS in the dropdown
Pff, this game's constant tension is fucking killing me. Fucking mimics jump-scaring me all the time
Now there's something hunting me called a Nightmare, good times. At least it's stupid and blind and goes away after 2 minutes
I'm getting too old for these kind of games, I guess. I need at least 50 shotgun shells on me at all times to feel somewhat at ease
But exploration is too much fun, I'm drawn back to it.
Live, die and live again in Prey’s new Mooncrash DLC, an infinitely replayable, rogue-like experience that puts you in the boots of different TranStar employees and drops you into a secret moonbase. Armed with your wits, weapons and alien powers, you’ll need to survive long enough against the Typhon threat to escape the moon. Every time you die, the path off the moon will change. New obstacles, enemies and gear placement will keep you on your toes through every attempt. Included in Prey: Mooncrash are also a series of free updates, the first of which is available now. The Full Moon update is free for all Mooncrash or Prey: Digital Deluxe owners and includes the following:
- Skyrim Theme Operator
- The Evil Within Theme Operator
- Striped Top Hat Mimic
- Bamboo Hat Mimic
- Engraved Silenced Pistol
- Engraved Shotgun
- Engraved G.L.O.O. Cannon
- Engraved Wrench.
And keep an eye out for future free updates. The next one drops in just a few weeks, and Mooncrash’s largest free offering – the Typhon Hunter multiplayer update – comes later this summer
