Yeah, it feels like (in general) the writers are dragging things on longer than necessary this season, while dismissing important details since the focus must remain on Carrie.
On the flipside, the family drama was concluded in a reasonably decent way in my opinion (it took them 10 episodes, but still xD), and I do enjoy the thrills of the political ruckus, even though it really tends to go bonkers from time to time.  *applies the electrocyka therapy*

There are definitely some lapses on the writing front, but still, it's an enjoyable watch overall. Even the family drama was resolved in a cool, rather down-to-earth way (I agree with Ixi). Besides, considering Showtime's track record, I'm willing to count my blessings and give this an "A-OK". Of course, there's always a possibility that Carrie will grow a beard and become a lumberjack next year.

I used to really struggle with Carrie's character in the the first couple of seasons, on reflection I think she is incredibly well written and she does a great job as an actress making it believable. Of all facets of her character, i find the patriotic side the hardest to relate. Still it's very real showing people frequently put passion, retarded bad relationships, jobs and many other vices first well beyond their family.. a rarity to see that stuff portrayed half decently in a TV show.
It hasn't been the strongest season, still enjoyed debating whether Carrie is doing the right or wrong things. I thought her sister was way off base at first, but then Carrie is completely neglecting this kid... what a train wreck situation to be in.
I'm no parent, but it is clear seeing those with kids around me. kids = your life is done for 20 years now (35-40yrs looking at millennials).

everything is so far fetched and duck taped together,m ugh, this seaons script is pure ass ... this operation was a joke, a real operation would have thermal cams satelite support ... cheap second class script writers pfft, she lost one of her buddies/team ... not a flinch ... really ?
and 30 armed guys just wreaking havoc in moskow , yeah right ....

GRU? Why not.  Don't ever forget all these SVR, GRU etc are just organized crime syndicates.
They are already above any law.
What was unbelievable is 1) what forced this guy to act like this. 2) that he kept all his money in the US . Nah, they would have resolved this situation differently. For instance, they would have compensated his losses by increasing taxes for Russian citizens and getting(stealing) money from the federal budget or something, as they already did here after Magnitsky act, I think, or some other sanctions..

So I quit watching this show after:

Tbh I got really annoyed by the main character.

Great season finale. Poor Carrie, though.
Also, Beau Bridges did a great job, really interesting character. Looking forward to see more of him in the final season.

another season ? dafuck they gonna do this time, impeach the president haha, dont get me wrong , how they satired and displayed infowars and russian social media interference was eye opening and brilliantly done, and took balls to show that to an american audience ( who probably didnt even understand it was showing their own shit)
