Unless the various releases alter the path it should be under "C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Local\techland\cojgunslinger\out"
As a backup if the registry path isn't correct the data can also be placed in the game folder so you can check that as well.
C:\Games\CoJ Gunslinger\coj4\out
(Or for a techland or gunslinger folder in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents)

Steam downloaded a 75 MB update and then spent a while adding the data to the game, some GB of data got changed all in all.
For only one fix and some adjustments to the credits?

Fixed:
- problems with enemy AI movement on some CPU configurations leading to gameplay blocks (on the Henry Plummer bossfight, the Grey Wolf encounter, etc.)
For anybody who encountered this issue, it's strongly recommended to start over their playthrough for the best possible experience. Enjoy!
Changes:
- additional credits: special thanks to the Steam community members for tracking and testing this issue!

Licensed music I would guess? Still, I don't think anything of value was lost.

So another victim of the "licence" nonsense, like Alan Wake, Blur, etc.

Checking the wiki for it, seems like I was thinking of one of the other CoJ games. I don't think I actually played Gunslinger.

Yeah the other Juarez game Ubisoft forced into a modern setting and co-op with betrayal mechanics.
Techland doesn't acknowledge that game far as I'm aware or at least don't regard it very highly.

Indeed, Gunslinger is definitely worth playing if you don't mind an alternative take on the western genre, it's an over-the-top arcade (done well, which is rare) with a pretty unique narrative and visual style, quite refreshing.
The stinker when it comes to the CoJ series is The Cartel, practically a Call of Duty in disguise starring gangsta esses, cholos and quick time events

The Cartel was delisted, too.
The odd thing is that the Ubi store still has Gunslinger.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I played and finished the first CoJ, tried the second one and quit. Then I read here on the hump that Gunslinger was really really good even if you didn't particularly like the other CoJ-games. And that was true. Gunslinger was fun (sure, there were a few annoyances but...).
