Probably depends on the weapon, the bigger hammers probably hit further up, in most cases though Bayek pushing them over and down and then stepping back means it hits in the lower torso region or groin though clipping or perhaps managing to get in closer before triggering the finisher might impact how it plays out.

The sound of small priceless porcelain breaking likely means Ubisoft were pretty aware of what would get hit during combat though. Razz

EDIT: Though I guess compared to something like the sniper bows and their meter length arrows a hammer is well OK it probably hurts like hell and the bleeding from a shattered pelvis (And extra bits.) can't be too fun. Very Happy
(And Bayek gives no shits about the laws of reality and folds longer weapons before holstering them.)

You can really feel those weapons pack a punch, and the feedback on hit enemies is great.
Also those brutal finishers.

Game really starts to stutter for me after a few hours of playing though, or when i alt+tabbed to the desktop for more than some minutes.
I guess it's a problem when playing from a HDD. But sadly i don't have enough space on my SSD left currently. Embarassed


Buy another ssd then.

Well, at least here the 860 was only released recently.
The 850 is about 50€ cheaper. But if i'm going to buy a SSD, i might as well get the newest one. Which is supposed to have even better durability.

In all seriousness tho I think something about the fictional ancient Atlantis can be interesting. They could do it some kind of a cool steampunk style.

Another great setting could be in Ancient Greece but now that we have Egypt it probably won't be so different than Origins.

Why are you dismissing Origins 2 so fast? I think ancient rome or greece could be quite interesting.
Also, we have yet to see how the order of the ancients come to be the templars...

Just finished the main game + the Hidden Ones DLC, had a really good time thru and thru, although I skipped the last 3 AC games so maybe that factors in. It gets repetitive after a while, the story is the same meh (main plot is revenge, the background plot is known history) but the setting, music, atmosphere, the detail of the whole world and each region is so, so amazing that it kept me going.

Also, "Winds of Cyrene". What a fantastic music track, especially the last minute which is the amazing viewpoint synchronization music in the Green Mountains/Kirenaika region. I also dig "I Walk on your Water" which is the really suspense heavy investigation music in some parts.

A few patches dropped since this release (1.4.0. just today), but I guess CPY is better off now waiting for the "Curse of the Pharaohs" DLC which drops next week.

I really hope Ubisoft will go for the feudal Japan setting sometime, it's possibly one of the best setting for a fictional AC game (ninjas and samurai are perfect fit for this), don't know why they didn't go for that yet.

Also, would AC work in the 40k universe with all the guns they have there? Too much pew pew, there for a bladed assassin. Unless you'd make it more of a Hitman type game where you can also snipe and so on.

in WF you'd have a mostly melee gameplay with a few muskets and blunderbusses / pistols.

The new quest leading up to the DLC was a interesting addition, mostly just more questions though it serves as a interesting plot hook to whatever Eden Piece ### that this is.

I've given it a quick shot and the unowned DLC still shows up in my journal + I'm allowed to load my save (not allowed without DLC). It seems to be working. I simply re-applied the 1.40 "legit dlc crack". Also make sure you have a copy of the dlc itself since uplay deletes it.
I won't 100% confirm the DLC still works since I haven't started it, but early signs point to yes.
