Yep it's 95% the same - some letters like the r are slightly different but the letterspacing is more or less the same so you can almost replace it 1:1. Be aware that Helvetica and Helvetica Neue are quite different - especially when you look at the condensed and bold versions. For condensed I prefer the Neue variety.
