Harris had completed five takes on the 20th Century Fox film already. It was after the sixth take that the motorcycle hit the curb.
“In the maneuver, which was never more than 15 kilometers per hour – [a little less than] 10 miles an hour – she rode on a flat surface through two open doors and then turned left and went out of camera range,” a source close to the production said. “Her exit was a safety ramp to a big platform where the bike was supposed to stop, but she overshot the platform, hit a curb, and was thrown from the bike through a glass window.”
Harris was an experienced motorcycle rider, but this was her first movie stunt. The source said rumors that she was not qualified for the job, and was hired only because she was black and was doubling for an actress of mixed race, are untrue. “To say an unqualified person was put in this position is absolutely untrue,” the source said. “She was the best candidate for the job.”
Production was halted immediately after the crash. The British Columbia Coroner told Deadline that day “a coroner attended the scene and an investigation is underway with The Vancouver Police Department and WorkSafeBC, which also is investigating this incident.” Harris reportedly was not wearing a helmet during the stunt work. |

its weird, the first poster looks like its been drawn with skill, but the way its put together, and the angles and poses, look amateur. and the second one is just lame.

You just don't understand the humour.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Deadpool. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Wade Wilsons' nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Deadpool truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Deedpools existential catchphrase “Mother fucker,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Rob Liefeld's genius wit unfolds itself.

It's strange.
Deadpool will pull through.
Solo will bomb.
There's nothing in terms of hype for solo.
Disney mentioned that they're expecting it to bomb.
May 4 is infinity.
Deadpool 18... which will hit infinity. Hard.
for some reason people loved deadpool. The sequel is getting the same hype if not stronger than the first one.
Infinity wars is gonna make less than what Disney is anticipating.
And solo is just going to bomb if deadpool 2 is carried by word of mouth.

solo cant bomb. its a fucking star wars movie.
look at how well rogue one did, and it wasnt even part of the core franchise. force awakens was utter trash, worse than any of the recent DC super hero movies, and it still made SO much bank purely for being a star wars movie.
this one is not only star wars, but its han solo... this movie is going to be universally praised, and hit a billion, if not VERY close to it.
i think deadpool 2 will do worse than 1. i forever maintain that the marketing team MADE the first film relevant, with bonus points going to the R rating for a marvel film. this time around, its not as special. it'll do fine, but i cant imagine it topping the first films takings.
