Get the VLC 3.0 nightly.
The new version has hardware support for 4k material.

I just noticed the following appear on my go-to NZB indexing site. Does anyone know if 2160p releases generally have HDR or is it usually labelled in the release if they have it?

Do you not see the "REMUX" moniker? It means they are ripped directly from the source files and are 100% the quality of the source.
