New playable hero for multiplayer?

Heroes are really in need of some good characters, as most of the Villians are much stronger and have the better abilites.

100% ack. Additionally I think we need a subscription based solution because even while you are not playing the big companies always produce new games that require funds. I think something like $40/month/developer would be fair. Just think how many more developers EA would hire and how much better the games would become?

That's a terrible idea. It works for Netflix (for now) because $10 is affordable for most people and Netflix offers a wide range of series and movies so you technically only need a single subscription to have enough to watch.

With games, it would get far too expensive and most publishers tend to have a select number of genres so you'd need to pay $100+ each month to get access to all the genres you want. On top of that, Netflix makes it CHEAPER than to rent movies or buy them. You pay $5-10 for a movie that lasts an hour and a half so you only need to watch a few movies a month for you to get your money back so to speak.

With games, it's a lot different. On sale, you can get good recent games for $5-10 so for $40 per publisher, say two publishers on average, you'd need to complete (yes complete, not just play) 8-15 games a month to get your money back which is insane.

$15 a month is a much better price. Make it a forced 3 month subscription and you avoid people subscribing for a single month just to play and complete a specific game.

Even so, even EA's current subscription model (EA Access) is a joke. You pay only $5 but you get no DLC and you can't even play more recent games. It takes at least half a year for games to added and games that still sell well, don't get added at all. Basically, the moment you can buy a game for $5-10 is when they add it. Considering you don't own any game when you stop subscribing you can't just compare prices that way anyway.

I'm happy that we found a middle path and both can accept that the "buy once, own forever" is not fair for any side Smile

I have to point out - thats always been the way, we never 'own' the games, we only have a license to install them.

The only difference is the storage media. Personally, I don't really miss discs all that much.

Yup, the comedic factor and ridiculousness generated by this shitshow is way higher than the disappointment coming from all the repeating fEAilures. We've reached the point where chaos is our ally, and the more embarrassing moments there are, the merrier Laughing

Now if only there is such an uprising over this cancer that we can reverse the toxins spewed forth in the gaming industry for almost a decade. I have my deepest reservations anything will change, in fact, I see it going into even darker territory I'm afraid. Sad Gamers needs to vote with their wallets and ensure bad publicity and stop this shiet otherwise you just keep enabling/emboldening the practice. Mad

They already have voted with their wallets. Why do you think we are seeing such a surge of this stuff? Because people absolutely lap it up. Legal restriction and enforcement is the only thing that is likely to curb it (and even then not actually stop it).

Laughing Some people here really lost their mind it seems.

Else i can't understand how they want people to stop buying games they still enjoy despite the issues - and why they even come back to this thread just to spam.
I mean those complainers haven't even played the game themselves, they just keep watching those retarded videos that only show the negative aspects (which are often bullshit anyways).

I buy and play games because i enjoy them, and i definately won't stop doing so out of pure protest. On the contrahary, i would actually buy several more copies just to make them more salty. Very Happy

I guess now i understand how Neon must feel, with the trolling going on with most AssCreed games.

One doesn't even have to play the game to know it's a mediocre cash in from EA. That being said, enjoy the game. I'm fine with people having fun with a game, its what games are for. But don't deny the shit that it has or you'll just turn into another freiwald.

Ah well, the Hump never changes.

Well that is one severely retarded way to look at this issue and generally brush away the bigger picture here. I played the beta and I loved the game itself and wanted to buy it day one (no pre-orders of digital goods ever!), BUT this is bullshit. This is a $60 AAA title. I don't want microtransaction bullshit that gives other players an advancement EVEN IN A FUCKING FREE MOBILE GAME, and I DEFINITELY don't want it in my competitive online multiplayer game that I already payed full price on! Fuck those greedy cunts, for all I care they can milk your big fat whale tits, but I'm not going to support this kind of business practice, no matter and despite enjoying this game. It's a real shame.

"These Macaroni with Cheese taste really great guys, I'll order a second dish of it just to make you hungry bitches more salty" - "But we don't want cum in our Mac'n'Cheese, even if it's only a driplet of pre-cum. Yes we are hungry but pre-cum doesn't belong into Mac'n'Cheese!" - "*gobble*gobble*" Rolling Eyes

Dont try to educate him as he doesnt listen at all. I tried it over steam that there is a wider picture to be seen but he doesnt even wanted to hear that and thought that i wanted to tell him what he can spend his money on and what not which isnt the case at all.

But yeah using some common sense seems to be too much for some people ^^
