Boss health doubles, from what I've read at least but there might be other changes too.
(As long as you're quick you can revive the other player too so it's probably required as to not trivialize some of the fights too much.)

Indeed.. what an incredible BOSS fighting game set in the 30-40s. See.. game BASED ON MERIT does have the potential to succeed. Shocking!!

Cuphead 'Guaranteed' to Return, Developer Says

But that's a bit OT and the things people pay for lately seems to be simpler commissions and furry stuff or gore so there's a lot of pretty crap content on the site as a result of all that getting uploaded lately thus burying other works in the process.

Come to think of it wasn't one of the Gearbox employees basically indirectly asking for more attention for Battleborn and it's "fan art" creations a while back on Twitter? Heh though I suppose it's not too uncommon although it's not often called out on from the actual developers. Razz

Well anyways, back to Cuphead I suppose, though I haven't really heard anything about extra content or any plans at all besides the above news that it's guaranteed to return.

Well those rules were made many years ago for a reason, still as relevant today as it was then I guess. Razz

Anything that exists has porn of it, anything that exists is someone's fetish.

And about a dozen or so more, I might not know a little bit about some odd curious things and strange stuff in general but even I don't know all of those things. Ha ha.


EDIT: As a general warning though it might be a good idea to get out more and see and do thing lest you start researching stuff on the internet, can leave it's mark depending on what you dig up. Very Happy
Though these days it's mostly various gaming forums and stuff like TVTropes and what not, porn is mostly just for humor though I guess that's not too surprising since quality overall has dropped a fair bit.

Which I guess mirrors gaming come to think of it, best not to mix the two though or things might go bad, just look at Japan's PC gaming industry and what the major produce there is ha ha.
Steam has given the opportunity for some nice console ports though, port quality itself has been less nice however but it's slowly improving, as is the avalanche of adult content released on Steam now by indie developers even if Steam has tried to restrict it a bit recently but it doesn't seem to be working.


Well anyways good to hear things are going well for Cuphead both for the developers themselves and the community dedicated to fan art of dubious content. Smile

Some developers have had problems getting dev kits or have had luck with Nintendo Europe but then had problems with Nintendo US from what I have read but I don't see Cuphead having any problems like that since it's sold extremely well and is pretty well known now. Smile

Even if Nintendo US is more strict with indie games they'd likely accept Cuphead onto the platform and provide the devs with kits and such though the port would still take a little bit of time but Unity Engine shouldn't be a problem.

I don't know if the developers have any special plans or if there's any exclusivity deals involved, I don't think there is but I'll have to see if anything like that's been posted.


EDIT: Well business info might limit what's available to the public but they might be in on a XBox deal for console exclusiveness at least for a timed period, information differs between full exclusiveness and limited exclusiveness for the XBox platform so hard to say.

Seems like a poor deal in my mind but I don't know what the up front payment for that was, still you do cut off at least two entire user bases so that's a big downside.
(And then you have handheld and mobile as a possibility as well depending on the game.)

Playstation has a pretty good user base, Nintendo is apparently doing really well for indie sales on Switch too currently and it's not as crowded as other platforms (Especially not Steam and PC.) so that's a bit of a loss, getting in on that early could have been really profitable for a sizeable portion of time. Smile


EDIT: But it seems they retain IP ownership and a sequel could go multi-platform as a result.
