Everything and its dog has a patreon these days, can't even watch a youtube vid without them mentioning.
Maybe I should create one and promising I will be doing nothing.

@Morphineus It's quite surpring you often see people saying "this ain't worth the dollars it's made of" but then go all "holy shit I have to support this completely random guy I just met today who promises he will use this to pay their rent in return for making me a cup of tea that I can't do myself"

Indeed, just baffles me especially so because I know some people that have more than 100$ a month over various patreons and when asked they don't have that great earnings. |

Normally you gain something by donating to those Patreon guys.
When i stumble upon those sites, 90% so far have been about girls that offer nudes of them if you like and subscribe.
What else is there?

The most useful things would be to support Modders and Developers. But after Twitch has gone full mental with Streamers, most of the Patreons are money sinks for stupid people that probably earn way too much to handle.

So far it hasn't been that bad indeed. Unless you enter for every garbage title 
We'll see how it pans out with the first decent humble bundle, that's the real test.

I expect the same number of giveaways, but with less people entering them (because of less points). So I don't think it'll effect your chances of winning much as everyone can enter less. The exception being that you probably have more chance to win games you actually want.

Well activate keys, stick to the rules and you have far less chance of getting hit by a suspension.

(little fun fact -> if you are in switzerland you can purchase on steam only the german version but get the english one as extra entry. dunno why they havent done it atleast for austria too)
