obviously some sweetfx or reshade, forgot which i used but some really make an exceptional difference; also at nexus there are some good mods, those for hd summons, blood or messages look very nice, also used a mod for keyboard icons; you can check nexus for others
obviously gedosato too but dont think it works with dx11 version, might be wrong
Adaptability stat and a number of healing items also changes things up a bit, enemy "hit" boxes can also be wonky for certain fights though I don't know, I kinda enjoyed the game (Bonfire ascetics made NG+ item hunting far more manageable too. ) although the re-released version felt a bit random. (Why is the Pursuer in the tutorial area? ) It's also a bit more linear and doesn't really twist back to earlier areas like the other two installments are fond of doing, particularly the first game felt really nicely connected in this regard whereas in Dark Souls 2 you take a elevator into the clouds to a volcano lava area which well the original design would have made sense but the interim desert area was kinda smashed and cut down so yeah.
DLC areas will definitively ruin your fun though, they are pretty tough and the boss fights can be really challenging even for more experienced players though there are usually summon signs nearby, or you'll just get invaded.
(Decent item rewards at least.)
Yep. It's a bit different game than ds1.
It is good but on a different plane than first game... and looses when both are directly compared.
But if You think about it in vacuum, it's a good, interesting take on dark souls

Honestly, even if DS2 does not achieve the elegant cohesion, logically structured level design and satisfactory combat as the legendary DS1, it can still be a thoroughly enjoyable ride in my opinion. I had a lot of fun with it - despite some questionable flabbiness and not-so-memorable encounters (humanoids, humanoids everywhere).
Hell, in this day and age ruled by awesome button-powered popamole trash, a weaker Souls is still a remarkable experience. Make sure to play the DLCs too Danyutz, they're surprisingly meaty and can provide some proper challenge as well.
Bloodborne is a flawed yet impressive game. It has this mysterious quality that draws you to play it over and over again. The only current gen console game I bothered to play, too bad there will never be a PC version...

The framerate is what consistently kills Bloodborne for me. DS3 on the PC and Nioh on the PS4 were the only games like these that i could really get into and finish, as i cannot stand the framerates in Bloodborne
I think they must have switched engines after this video right?
I've seen somewhere that Dark Souls 2 is not using ds1 engine. But bloodborne and ds3 is.

they did upgraded DS2 though, "Scholar of the First Sin".. not sure why this first version would be very relevant today when there's something better looking. It's probably not completely on pair with the 2013 gameplay reveal, but i do remember it looking better than 1.0 version.
Edit: actually the upgrade is quite disappointing (had to check a comparison video), the difference in lightning is there but its subtle.
For a few areas, but the "fullbright" effect is still there and areas like the foggy woods and a certain mansion are still really ugly although not quite N64 quality anymore so there's some improvements.
They also changed most every encounter which adds some freshness but it's not always well thought out so it turns into even more trial & error than usual.
(Pursuer encounters are also upped by a bit, several more NPC type phantoms around too including a few full fledged invaders and allied summons.)
1.This is the DS2SotFS PS4 version
2.This is also the SPANISH version of the game, wich means VIGOR = WEIGHT and VITALITY = HP.
3.Warrior class
I am actually right after the Female Scorpion Boss (with the help of Tark, the silent scorpion/crab thing) and reached up to the huge Elephant and big dwarves area, right after the Church "Boss".
I wanted to ask what stats should i upgrade from this point, since i've been following one of Reddit's posts but not sure if i should upgrade health or staming or just STR/DEX.
Here are 2 photos of my actual stats and equipment. I have many weapons that require high STR but also weight a WHAT?! ton and could make me "Fat roll" (Roll just to get slammed myself to the ground).
I've also got, not shown, the "SWEINHARZERDT" or something, along those "Full body shields", but i've been dealing fine with the +7 Bastard Sword for now, unless there's a better weapon out there..
Estus has 7 uses btw.
Thanks in advance!
