Not that I play a lot of MMO's but if they're going way back, how the fuck is GW2 on that over the original, it's a piece of fucking shit.

What about The Secret World? Isn't that one pretty damn popular?

The Secret World should get honorable mention simply based on its story, quest-lines, and voice-over work. The game itself was shitty (largely due to the combat system), but it still reigns supreme in terms of actually interesting, "I want to do this quest to find out what happens", quests. That, and the fact that it was the first MMO in a very long time to break away and have the balls to try something different.

World Of Warcraft, best online game experience i have ever had, loved that game so much, played like 10 years. Don´t think there will be ever MMO that i will love as much as WoW, unless blizzard decides to make something new.

Rift was entertaining but I did not really feel very unique in that game due to the fact that you could swap to another specc in an instant no matter where you were atm.

I wish more high budget MMOs were being made (non asian ones that is). I understand why it doesn't happen, since it's a very risky thing to do (and it takes such a long time to develop as well) but there is so much potential with MMOs if you're just willing to be a bit different from the established pattern. Especially nowadays when hardware has finally gotten to a point where we can make really pretty AND large open world games.

I agree! I tried Black Desert - b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l game....but being asian it was pretty much (imo) pure crap Razz Pedowarning on all characters and shitty combat system.
Give me a classic non-asian mmo with top notch graphics and I wont need any other game.

Think the only Western one that is high budget and in development is the Amazon one no (that we know of)?

Will be interesting to see if it will fit as an MMO or its again one of those watered down small hub experiences.
