This season so far is rather boring, besides very rare funny scenes.
The show just isn't meant for such long storylines to go on (presidental election / internet trolling / boys vs girls)

Sounds really good indeed. I didn't even watch the entire last season, i got too bored.
I want episodes about the kids being kids, that has always been the shows strength imo. Episodes like Good Times with Weapons, Awesome-O, Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers, Passion of the Jew, those are the classics. I much rather watch S08 again for the 10th time than seeing this last season even once.
Also it needs way less Mr Garrison and P.C principal, they have such a limited range and it feels like they really dont have too much else to offer than what we've already seen again and again. Garrison gets on my nerves. Also, I miss characters like Mephesto.
Can't blame them for trying something new after so many years, but it's pretty obvious it didn't exactly work out for the series; season-long storyline like that just constrains things too much.
Hopefully they'll take a step back with the current events nonsense they've been doing for years now too, it's not particularly funny and it just means on later viewing the eps just seem stale.
Either way works for me, I enjoyed it last season. That being said it's nice to change it up once in a while. As long as I get my giggles out of it.
Sure single episodes are better for future watching... but in all honesty other than zapping and finding it on TV I hardly watch older episodes from Southpark. Might have done so twice in 5 years.

Same bad sound here. I could not understand speech due to music and high volume. Im going to grab the SD versions going forward. I happened to like it.
