There was this one older male game developer who said something like that, don't remember the exact details but he turned up to work completely naked and spent most of the time alone in his part of the office working on some feature.
Now I have some searching to do.
EDIT: Nothing, guess all records of that day were purged and people vowed never to speak about naked crunch ever again.
As for office conditions well I guess it depends, secretary and boss is certainly a popular thing though so it has to be based on something.
(Well besides pay raises and promotions that is.)
