Hahah what a ridiculous thing to do, the game itself probably takes up less space than the protection
And according to reviews, the game MUST be played with an active online connection at all times

Damn i didn't think Sega of all company's would sink so low, i mean they where using Denuvo in their AAA releases for a while now no big deal, but in a oldschool 2D 20€ budget title and then they even have the nerve to put always online on top of that ? That's practically begging for a shitstorm.

This mean the online only thing won't be the problem cracking this game, I hope it won't be long for the other 'layer' being crack so we can Laugh about the developers failure.

I've completed SONIC MANIA (PS4) as Sonic n Tails, and got allowed to the legal STAGE SELECT option (NOT the debug or whatever)
My question is...If i choose a level, do i have to finish the game in order to use STAGE SELECT again?, or can i, dunno, "Choose a level, grab it's Chaos Emerald, finish the act/zone, LEAVE THE GAME, be able to repeat the level WHILE KEEPING THE GOTTENCHAOS EMERALD" ?
Just trying to achieve a "7 emeralds for -Every Character Mode-" for nostalgia fun...
Thanks in advance!

Sega admits that Denuvo affects performance
"...During development care was taken to ensure the performance impact was minimised and optimised to keep the game running smoothly."

Edit: This is sonic mania related

To be fair, that quote is taken out of context.
| Quote: | Will Denuvo affect the performance/FPS of the game?
The FPS is unaffected by Denuvo. During development care was taken to ensure the performance impact was minimised and optimised to keep the game running smoothly. |
Whether or not that's actually true is always open to debate. However, that last bit is pretty much lies because the decision to add Denuvo was made 2 weeks before release... I suspect there wasn't much testing done in that time.

4.5(64 bit) already cracked by CPY around 10 days ago..(agent of mayhem)..
It seems like newest version of Denuvo getting faster and faster being cracked then ever...
Only one offline Newest 'D' remain uncracked so far(F17) .. I doubt CPY will bother with it But STEAMPUNKS cracked 16 and they proved they can crack V4 as well just days a go...
I doubt cracking 4.5 will be that hard for them.

I don't know excaly why they(SEGA) decided to use retro graphics..
Pretty much the same as the classic games..
Maby becuase fans wsnted official retro game?
I won't be surprised if the game was developed for the original WII
But they eventually dropped it becuaae the WII is far gone at this point.

It's very good.. but damn, this must easily be the hardest of the 2D Sonic's - the bonus rounds are definitely frustrating, and some of the bosses are equally annoying. Some maps are also very confusing... but that might just be a symptom of my age
