I'd say there's a good chance they will release it next month but who knows.

This isnt my BM So far all Ive watched were feels good man movies. Granted they were great, but it feels like white mirror
San Junipero feels like a depressive/suicidal flick in comparison
somehow i had this feeling already after seeing the trailers.
plus all the morons on facebook shouting how good the series is and that it's "almost as good as stranger things" got my hopes down too. all those idiots.
"it's so different now wow so artsy"
seems like the series is done then now. but of course i will watch the season first before i will put it in the trash.
Not the best season for sure, but I liked most of the episodes enough and really loved Metalhead. Black Museum was utter trash though. I get what they were going for there, but man did they miss the mark.
My main complaint about the season is that Chralie Brooker seems to be in love with the idea of uploading consciousness. We've had what, like 5 episodes about it now? It's a fascinating subject and all, but jeez.
I thought Black Museum was one of the best on the season and Metalhead one of the worst
Same, I couldn't even finish metalhead

I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!
All things considered, I liked this season. Only 1 bad episode really (Metalhead), the rest ranged from decent to very good (my favorite was Crocodile). It's not the worst season, each had shitty episodes (except the first).
It is getting americanized to a point and you can see Charlie fighting the americanized television shit. He still does his whacky things and a nice look at society but i can't help but feel that he lost a while back. He's still good and imaginative - my fav was the star trek rip off until the end where it just fell apart. not enough struggle and the fight was too easy to win.
but all of the others... solid eps... decent ideas... but can't wait to see what ideas netflix canned.
Ep1 - 8/10 Strong return for the series with a fun episode that also looks great.
Ep2 - 7/10 Decent.
More perhaps tomorrow?

After more or less marathoning through this series, i must say season 4 is utter trash compared to the other seasons. Every season have had their super silly episodes, but this one... missed the spirit of black mirror completely. As said above, white mirror suits this season much better.
“Black Mirror” Season 5 might not be debuting on Netflix before the end of 2018, but it’s become increasingly clear that “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” probably will, and it’s most likely happening on December 28. What is “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch”? A Netflix social media leak at the beginning of December suggested it could be the first episode of Seasn 5, but a new report from The Independent (via Esquire) reveals it’s a “Black Mirror” movie, which would be the first of its kind.
While Netflix will not confirm “Bandersnatch,” Esquire made note that an online Netflix page already exists for the title and labels it a “Netflix film.” Any Netflix subscriber can search for “Bandersnatch” on the streaming platform and be directed to this landing page, which confirms it’s not an episode but a film (see photo below). The leak at the start of the month said “Bandersnatch” would drop December 28, which lines up with the end-of-the-year release of “Black Mirror” Season 4 in 2017. The landing page does not confirm December 28 but it does say 2018.
Quote:
The most interesting new detail is that “Bandersnatch” reportedly has 312 minutes of footage, which is over five hours. A huge number like that would be ridiculously long for a feature film, but it would make sense given reports that “Black Mirror” is planning a choose-your-own adventure storyline. News first broke on an interactive “Black Mirror” episode in October, and the 312 minute “Bandersnatch” runtime suggests it’s a choose-your-own-adventure movie.
Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. In 1984, a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge. Welcome back.
Releasing tomorrow, the 28th.

Update: I didn't watch more. Dunno, the first two episodes were nice and all but they were awfully familiar too. I shall watch the rest.. one day.

netflix did it again.
last season was already a let down and now this. i don't know how they could fuck it up like this.
it's a nice idea and it worked great but it could be much much much much much better.
the story is just boring and the end i had wasn't satisfying at all.
compared to the last black mirror christmas movie, this was just a stylish joke.
will watch it again with a friend and let him choose then and see if he gets a better ending but even if i don't think it will change anything.
