Haha damn, definitely not unexpected considering the premises but still. Thanks for being the guinea pig, most of these attempts to revitalize dead franchises share a similar fate, moreso if they're designed to cater to a different audience (the ultimate seppuku ).
There's a Close Combat 8 inbound as well (The Bloody First) but judging from the screenshots and informations it doesn't quite look/sound like it could be a refreshing entry in the genre.
Give me a good oldschool Combat Mission 1/2/3 with modern gfx.
The way it played was awesome, the realism and details were great, it's just that there was room for improvement, and also, now the engine is way too dated.
A simple, clean remake with a handful new features and fixes should be enough to satisfy The Thirst™.

I did not expect an actual success. And was never a fan of Sudden Strike. Always prefered the original Blitzkrieg and the Codename Panzers/Rush for... series. So i am glad that i've stayed away of this one. Had a gut feeling that it won't deliver.
