Reasons? My father-inlaw is thinking of buying it but I don't think he should but I can't really give him any reasons as I don't know how the app works or even if it does?

- Because you can become ad-free with free apps. If you are rooted, there should be even better apps available.

- If you really want a VPN, just buy something like PIA. It also gives you up to 5 licenses you can use for different devices.
