he didnt say theyre taking greater advantage of the hardware, he just said the graphics look better.
now that can either mean the developers are getting more out of it or the hardware is simply better, you cant really judge on this according to the little info he gave.
the point is that in the last 2 gens the consoles were hardware-wise more impressive in a chronological order.

One of my housemates recently got a 360 and I must say i'm impressed with the graphics of condemned. The graphics are as good as FEAR's running on max, which is quite an achievement.

I'd sooner make up my own mind than listen to some "game journalist" (IGN, Gamespy/spot and this prick can lick my hairy arse), as someone in this thread said go with whatever games interest you.

dont get me wrong, thats certainly some good graphics, but its the least to expect from a next gen console.
consoles have always kicked pcs butt graphics-wise in their first year or atleast first few months. |

This is the firs gen where coding and utilization of the hardware is more vital than actual hardware itself.
btw D_A_Kuja.. your animation is messing with the loading of these forums. It's like the page hangs every few seconds. When it's done your animation is buggy? don't know why?

Whats all this about PS3 and Xbox 360? Fuck monotony. Nintendo Revolution is the most intriguing to me personally... Although a relatively cheap blu-ray player would be my next choice.

PS3 will be sweet, i really dont give a shit about comparing with 360, cause ill get both. But I think Revolution is gonna be a flop. They already admitted the gfx capabilities wont be that much better than gamecube...thats so ridiculous im lost for words. Gfx aint everything but for me its at least 50% of the game.

GFX are 100% not if you REALLYYY like the game but it's all about first impressions
like people diside in 0,0005 secs if they like a website or dont ( look up in cnn news somewhere )
