Always remember those times waiting with 40+ people in kargath to go raid. The stress I had as a raid leader making people show up and having to listen to peoples real life problems. We had a great group of friends meeting in real life aswel. We played for years together doing rank 1 many times and raiding everything.
Now when I log in it's nothing at all. Everyone stopped playing and the game is not even a shell of what it used to be. I feel like they had gold in their hands and didn't know what to do with it. Every single expansion made the game worse.
All these purple haired pony loving devs now playing the game on tablets putting 5% more agility here 10% stam there to try to balance shit. It's disgusting what they did with the game.
Nothing beats the vanilla days with premade bg's. Server only where you knew everyone. Raiding together competing with other guilds. Ganking STV, soutshore etc.
Got it too, as always not everyone get's it dunno what criteria they have for receiving it, this is actually the first time i got one.
Will still not bite Stormblood is just too good maybe for Argus since that looks actually somewhat decent compared to the shitty Broken Bore patch

Just a small portion of the things I also miss from back then, now that I look back after years of expansions......in the end not much good came out of them for me.
But it's still a personal opinion, Many seem to like WoW as it is/developed over the years.

How is the gcd now in Stormblood? Tried it a few times but couldn't get past it.

It's still 2.5 s as it always was and that will likely never change, it doesn't even matter at higher lvls since you get a lot of ability's which are not on the gcd you can weave in while the gcd is running, rotations are tight with those and you never have to wait around for the gcd to finish with nothing to do, there is also monk and ninja with their haste buffs which gives them a 2. s gcd, honestly only people who never played any job past lvl 50 have a problem with the gcd.

I have a trial but didn't get into it. Might try it, at the start the gcd really feels crap.
FF14 is awesome but I just can't justify paying 13E a month for it. This business model is dead to me.
Basic is 10.99 not 13 you don't really need more then one char and they are pretty much delivering high quality content every few months for it, more then any other MMO actually, 10.99 is not exactly a lot for that, i pay more for a meal every day.

But how you know it is awesome, if you are not paying for it?
Though i'm sick of those monthly sub MMOs too. Especially if you have a job, it just feels wasted money when you just play 1-2h per day on average.
Every other MMO besides WoW and FFXIV is F2P/B2P these days so there are more then enough other options out there if you don't like subs, i personally rather pay a few bucks a month and get some good content patches for it then be nickel and dimmed for every shit (WoW actually has a lot of those bullshit shenanigans as well these days, because they can...) and i don't really have a lot more time for it then you atm, but to each his own.
Dunno, even at 1/2 hours a day on average 15'ish bucks isn't that much. Cinema ticket is usually around that for a one time 2 hour event that can be rather shit or mediocre as well.
That being said if you start to think 15 euro for a full month is not worth it... take a break/stop. It's what I usually did if I felt I couldn't get my money's worth out of it any more.
The other business models usually comes with having to swallow even more shit. So yeah I still prefer subscription model in MMO's.
I would actually prefer a model like in TESO:
Buy the game for a fixed price and you can play afterwards without a sub.
Of course you are free to pay for one if you want and need the benefits of it, but you don't need to.
And from what i read, the ingame shop with all the cosmetics gives them a nice and steady income too.
Enthoo Evolv ATX TG // Asus Prime x370 // Ryzen 1700 // Gainward GTX 1080 // 16GB DDR4-3200

You forgot all the addons and DLCs you can buy also the TESO ingama shop is very extensive these days and far from cosmetic only,
from Loot boxes to the usual boosts they got pretty much everything covered.

Actually a very good example why i tend to avoid games with business models like this, the ingame shop becomes the main focus of development because it's where the money comes from.
@tet666
AFAIK the lootcrates only contain cosmetics too. Some of them that you can only get via them, and not buy directly
That's allrdy more then enough for me tbh
You also still have to pay for every new content pack/patch which conveniently is the same as paying the sub for a few months (ESO+ sub gives you access to the old dlcs but not the Morrowind dlcs you have to buy that extra despite them saying every dlc would be included), so unless you want to be stuck without any new content you have to pay one way or the other and that's on top of all this item shop bullshit.
Nah i think i rather pay my 10-12 bucks a month and an 30 for an xpack every 2-3 years get my new content patches for free and don't have to deal with any of this.
Funny story. I got 7 free Legion days too. I logged on my account to check it out - I wasn't even sure I was gonna play. It turned out something bugged out and there was no option to activate these 7 days. So I wrote a ticket to Blizz asking if it was - by any chance - a scam. Like I said - wasn't even sure I wanted to use them. I got a reply in 20 minutes and 30 days got added to my account instead of 7 because of this.
Long story short: Blizzard might do some not-so-great things at times, like asking 15$ for a simple class pack, but they sure know their customer support

They do, i'm playing FFXIV atm and SE has probably the worst customer support in the whole industry, i still prefer Stormblood to Legion but it's one thing i'm missing.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
nice just when i started replaying this
btw im grinding for legion flying, holy fucking shit it takes so much longer than in draenor, the nightfallen rep is killing me
Aye, frustrating shit that flying has become.
I just went full obsessive mode for a week to finally clear it. Can't stand world quests any more because of it.
