CPY and yes current drivers too. Reading on local torrent seems like 50% crash on name input.

I am in the exact same boat. CPY release and current drivers. The minute I hit enter on the "create save" screen, the game crashes.

have you tried the baldman crack? i would bet 100 bucks it crashes there too
edit: maybe it tries to go online? block it in the firewall and check the steamemu,maybe it works setting it to offline?

What steam emu? Cpy doesnt use that method.

what do you think those two dlls are?
though i dont have it, nor have i another cpy release installed hence i dont know if the ini file contains a parameter for offline mode or not and if not if there is a line to switch to offline mode
either way: have you blocked it in your firewall?

What version did you use prudi? Full cpy or another pack + cpu crack only?
Also did you have another version installed before? Or a savegame?

... so used steamrip i had before from a friend and CPY crack only (to be sure clean exe aswell)

played the baldman version and for sure had the creators update installed when that crack came out, besides that i had to maximize it to not get a crash at the start everything worked fine

doenst work either, tried that before i figured out the fullscreen stuff.
maybe its the resolution? game is very picky about it (and as we know without far fullhd set ingame isnt even fullhd) can you set your display to full hd res and try again?

Tried 1080 / 4k / fulls / widowed... nothin works.
This is retarded, even downloading savegames from other people + putting them into the user/mygames folder thingy where nier files are... game still doesn't see any.
Basically it's fucked, has nothing to do with resolution or whatever, more to do with some retarded fucked up shit that affects pathing/admin rights or who knows what other crap.

That sucks Russ, I have no suggestions either besides trying to switch to Fisher's release from Rustorka + Baldman combo instead and see what happens.
You're using FAR, right? It's practically mandatory for this game, since the porting job has several issues by default. You can find versions compatible with the yarr releases on cs rin ("Kaldaien's Mods Cracking Thread", can't say more than this or I'll have to figuratively ban myself  )

Russ- you could try the usual aka checking indexing on save folder or move savefolder to non-windows folders like D:/cpysaves. If you are using FAR thats another thing thats totally random as far as crashcrashes

Didn't know anything about resolution issue the game started with 1600 x 900 switched to Full HD no issues what problem people are talking about?

Thanks for the suggestions, nope. I noticed this cpy release unlike the rest creates the appid folder inside my user....my documents/cpy_saves/524220 folder but doesn't use it, uses the my games/nier_automata instead. So yeah, something is weird. O well..

using baldman v3 on CPY release (the crack provided crash at the savename thing) and i've beated the first boss.
i tried to fix the savename folder destination from the ini's on both cracks, but it seems doesnt work at all.
FAR crashed once on baldman crack going on "you need updated software" (anti-piracy bullshit ofc) but now seems to work without problem.
i'm really fucking sad the price is still so much high on steam... i really wanted to buy it around 30€

Seems crash can be fixed by using baldman v3, making profile, then using CPY again.
Anyway too late now, bought ff xv to get my jrpg fix, will get back to this after i'm done with that, maybe they proper it by then. Seems weird you have to go through hoops with the p2p crack to get cpy's working.

Anyone experiencing game crash at desert section? The game had no problem at all until this point. Whenever i try to proceed after this resistance soldier explodes the gate, game just crashes. No error message, nothing.
I tried this Cpu fix or whatever, nothing is changed. Im on latest CPY version.
It crashes after here:
