Battlefront 2 looks pretty but boring, NFS looks alright, A Way Out looks alright, Derpware's new game has my curiosity slightly piqued but I'm not expecting something great.
Overall: "meh".
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
We will get to see a whole lot of scorpions, so that is something. Although it's not as interesting as a "proper" new-gen console launch. With these console upgrades of theirs it's just "4K all the things" and since their promo bullshots are always rendered at higher resolutions anyway, everything will look exactly the same - so they will have to talk pixels instead of showing them.
Their conference could be cool if the reason they've announced so few games over the last year is because they kept allllll of them for E3. If the only thing they announce is "Hey, Scorpio can run Windows 10S allowing you install all of our Store apps turning the Xbox into a media center" it'll suck.
