Hi there,

I'm planning to get a used HDD for a small project.

I've know that along the information shown by S.M.A.R.T. some software/programs display the hours of usage, that HDD has been used.

Does anyone know what software could I use to check this?

TIA Very Happy

Crystal Disk is pretty easy to use so I'd give another recommendation to that. Smile

(Shizuku iis a skin I believe so I just use the standard version.)

EDIT: And yeah it should show the powered on hours along with writes and other stats.
(Depending on what the HDD hardware supports, I find it very useful for getting a early warning on potential issues.)

sure it shows the uptime and the amount of how many times the drive was powered on. host write cycles etc are only shown on ssds (cause hdds dont save them and it would be useless either way)
