Can't believe how defensive you guys are getting, even throwing out insults, just because i am not in the same boat as you "older" gentlemen.
But you know what, even despite the flaws i mentioned, i actually liked the game and even finished it albeit with one set of choices only.
Also one more criticism i had was that the puzzles depended on pixel hunting a littile bit too much and the terrible visuals don't help
oh and i also didn't like that the dialouge choices were ambiguous and that even with trying out different things to say, the responses don't really change.

feel free to call me a young idiot who like to suck on his moms tittes and doesn't hace enough mental capacity to understand this game.

I went through the majority of the game using the hint system and skipping the harder puzzles. So if anyone calls you an idiot, just know that you aren't alone.

No Feed Troll

excellent game... true to tex

and like with with the first games ... the very first conversation places you ,on one of the 3 possible paths ... with 6 possible endings... what girl will you get from 3 possible ... yes the very first conversation and what type of coffee you drink ... and then what is your main goal ... Head , Hearth or finding who where ...

but yeah they added all tex lore to make this game , and to understand more you had to listen to the radio drama ... they even added some bits of it at the beginning ...

Only Pandora Directive had multiple paths and endings. But, yes, amazing game and truer to the originals then I expected. I love it! Very Happy

I love it too, but I agree with the mediocre scores. This really is fan service, or rather giving Kickstarter backers exactly what they paid for.

Ok, i LOVED it, until day 9. Now i'm starting to hate it a bit. Roaming a huge location (with a lot of death traps) with the way this game looks just isn't much fun... Its Pandora's Roswell without any urgency (and i was never a fan of that part)

Really ? Every Tex game had an area like that near the end (UAKM had two - the offices with the robot and then the Moonchild itself) but I was happy to see no time limit or robot stuff this time. The office part in UAKM was brilliant but I know a LOT of people would have moaned about that since it's quite hard for a game these days and people wouldn't have liked dying constantly.

Besides that, I loved it - it was good to see puzzles spread over a larger area and the death traps you mention, were very forgiving really. The mines were only on the first floor and very easy to avoid so that left just those electricity balls which only killed me once.

I really disliked day 5, because you have to scan that butt-ugly 3D environment for tiny hidden objects.

Sesen was definitely the weakest part of the game. It's the one place I got stuck because I missed a tiny shard to make the Ankh symbol (I played on Gamer mode). I love Egyptian settings but it was the one location where I felt things were just "off" - the test felt kinda like a lazy excuse to throw half a dozen Mensa puzzles at you. I didn't get stuck on any of those but still ... .

Also the part right after where you have to dodge the priests with the torches could have been a lot better. It was similar to the security droid scouting rooms in UAKM but there were barely any puzzles there - just having to create a word using the letters on the little signs.

That's really my main complaint with Tesla Effect I've come to realise: they have too many logic puzzles and not enough classic ones. UAKM barely had ANY logic puzzles and focused far more in item puzzles. I hope that when they make another Tex game, they'll balance the two more.

That looks very interesting. I loved the last game even though it was made on a low budget - I still need to replay it on the dark side, in fact. I hope this one will be as good.
