They used sounds and dialogues from Left 4 Dead. Other than that it looks ok I guess. Too bad I won't be able to play it because somehow Ubisoft deleted my account, which had legit copies of FC3 & AC3 on it. No Idea why they did it, maybe because I didn't login for almost a year?...assholes Mad

Finally I managed to play this and after the story game gets pretty boring. I've captured all the bases but side missions and small games aren't that interesting (at least for now).


I've spent about 30h so far and it's a pretty good value for a 7,49€ game. Smile DLC missions were ok.


The game was great in general but mechanics/gameplay was pretty bad. I hated when you have to aim at 'one pixel' to make action button to work. Also some AI bugs were hilarious. Razz Sneaking missions were interesting but the mechanis are so bad so that the game is no where near eg. Deus Ex: HR.

Solid 8/10 from me.

Does "FAR CRY THE WILD EXPEDITION" comes with a Steam Key for each game...or it's just DVD Installing or something?

Question. Does anyone know if FC3 on Gamestop activates on Steam? I assume not since the one on HumbleBundle doesn't but wondering if anyone did get a Steam key from Gamestop

ok, Thanks Sabin. But as far as co-op is concerned, if I join up with a friend who has the Steam version and I'm using this one, the underlying connection is UPlay, so we should still be able to do co-op?

Yes, it should still work okay since the game only uses Uplay Smile You'd just need to be on each other's Uplay friends list.

It does. I remember unlocking them via the cracked unotplay back then Laughing I don't remember if it had some in game rewards though. There's certainly one wallpaper that I bought.

edit: Now I remember that there was one of the side missions too I think. The lost caves or something like that. I totally regret that purchase Laughing

The UPlay server is probably down, well part of it probably as you can log in but the stuff for rewards, actions and your U-points or whatever the hell they are called (U-bits?) will not display correctly.

Probably any in-game functionality using this (Hi to all the locked equipment in AC: Unity) will probably not work either.

I still don't understand why people went so nuts about Vaas. He had like 3 cutscens in the whole game and while i liked how crazy he seems, he is damn nowhere to be seen in the game. Confused

Vaas was not even the main bad guy... And far cry 3 should have ended on first island. When You get to the second one and have to start everything anew... fuck that game and shitty characters. They deserved to die Laughing

I think so too, they'll be breaking new grounds with 1080p and 60fps*, a glorious next gen treatment Pffchh

*variable, meaning the game will reach 60fps only when looking at your empty bed
