Since I don't want to shit up the other thread.
Played some today and if done as another game it would probably get my mediocre vote.

The biggest problem I had with the game was: it wasn't fun. It was just too bland. Even in my MMO's I get beefier lore/dialogues thrown at me than the soundbites of the Andromeda. So yeah, after ignoring the quality issues you still end up with something meh.

And as always in doubt: Try it before you buy it.

That's pretty much how I feel. IF the game was the same, with no Turians or Asari, and was created as a new IP with new species, and a different history... possibly it might have gotten more positive reviews.

As I said before, it is evident there WAS love and passion for this game.. and then something went badly wrong.

The REALLY sad thing, is I see this in almost every game being released over the last 5 years.

In all honesty it was laziness (since I had this thread open already) and I thought I'd be more lashing out at the game when I wrote the first sentence. But... if you ignore the quality and price of the game you have less to be angry about.
