And the fucking pos makes me mad.
Had a 24" BenQ and bought an additional 27" ASUS VG27AH (3D, IPS, FHD). Now the ASUS is my primary monitor but whenever I watch some stuff on youtube it will turn of for 1-2 secs and back on when watching a vid.. Any idea why this is happening?

Yes hdmi  but but it works with the tv  ok ok will try another cable.. and dvi doesnt send audio
|

any reason you need audio input in your monitor? or try a different hdmi cable if you insist on using that

I had the same problem with my monitor, it went on doing that for 3 or four months.
And now it's all fine since about 2 months, and if i remember correctly i changed it from dvi to hdmi.
Or maybe from one hdmi to another.
But the other monitor and the rift have no problems so it might have something to do with the cable.

I am using Headphones when I play and usually I don't watch stuff on my monitor. I swear :'( OK OK I will get myself some lousy creative 2.1 setup or something like that :'( |

Tried a different HDMI cable at a different port and exactly same behaviour

OK, so in the nvidia drivers you apparently have to set that you are using desktop content only and it will stop trying to understand what type of content is delivered to the monitor... problem solved. jesus christ!
