Theres this strange issue dad got with his PC lately.
If it's off, it'll take x amount of tries to boot it (x=10 to 1000++).
When we push the power button, fans start spinning at full (something they dont do when it starts normally), power button lights up, and thats pretty much it. Monitors dont turn on.
Have to keep turning it off and on again a insane amount of times, and then it might start normally. Reset button will not work.
Tried unplugging all hdds/ssds/drives and ram with same result.
When I got it started, I did some CPU and RAM stress tests with no issues. He's using onboard gpu (the stock one in his intel i5 4670K).
I'm suspecting either MoBo or PSU issues, but I don't really have any other to test with, and a computer repair shop wants a billion cash to look at it.
if PC is on, it'll stay on and work normal even when it's on for a full week+++
board or psu yes, pull out yours if no other spare psu is available and test it with your dads pc. if that doenst change anything its most likely the mobo
