Only now do I see that the game was supposed to be in first person, like Dark Messiah. Oh man, this makes the whole thing with the game not being released yet even more sad.

What happened to this game anyway?

I was browsing through frozen and known cancelled games on Ag.ru (RPG's mainly. - http://www.ag.ru/games/filter/g46/s3/p28 such as this by Raven Software in '92 http://www.ag.ru/games/black-crypt/screenshots/181452 ) and re-discovered this and a few others but searching around didn't reveal much info, seems like updates just stopped or something.
(That or many of the articles are now old or deleted.)

Was just curious if there were some additional information or if they were just silently cancelled. Smile
(Could probably make quite a long list of cancelled games, Dungeon Lords 2 for example - also has a thread here somewhere - plus there's probably a lot of stuff we don't know about since the decision is taken before the game was announced.)


EDIT: We do know what happened to some games though, Project Offset for example - http://www.ag.ru/games/project-offset/screenshots/214818 - because of Intel / Larrabee - or http://www.ag.ru/games/chaos-chronicles - because the publisher Bitcomposer.

Yeah there's probably a lot of interesting titles that have been cancelled over the years, heh wonder if one could make a little page about titles like that, DOG.com for example for Dead Old Games. Razz
