Fixed.
The game is pretty much a parody. If you think they are serious characters you clearly didn't pay attention. |
The game might come across as parody because of how retarded everything is in it, but, believe you me, it is not meant to be. It's Ubisoft, not Rockstar.

Thats a bit racist, garus. But you are kind of right!
Considering the "normal" Black hero protagonist, and the one thats the black strategic coordinator, aka the black are the smart guys, the white team deadsec members are:
a) a freak with a mask,
b) a punk lesbian,
c) and an autist.
One could reason that for ubisoft white ppl are complete freaks? Or its an ironic take on a inverted society?

I found Marcus quite fun to play with. Grows on you. Other characters not so much.
Side activities are kind of meh. Online activities are fun.

@dekgol10 you cannot.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

This game is hilarious, I love it. They obviously don't take anything seriously, and it works well. The kids appear annoying at first, but the stereotypes won me over. Even driving is not as terrible as the first one. Not particularly good, but serviceable. Much better than W_D or Snoring Dogs.
So contemplating buying… One question; will I be able to transfer the save from CPY version to legit?

But holy shit that San Francisco ... is not San Francisco! The uncanny valley is very strong in this one. I haven't been to Chicago, but I assume it is even more so in the first. I think a Rockstar-type setting, where the location is parodied as well would fit this best. It still needs to be a San Francisco and Silicone Valley type metropolitan area - it must be for the type of retarded characters that there are in this game - but not SF itself.
It was distracting for me at first. As with any visit to SF, the first thing I did was go to Twin Peaks at dusk. It was disappointing!

Mafia 3 felt empty despite it's great cut scenes and driving, compared to this.

No one knows? How has it worked with previous Ubisoft games?

| JBeckman wrote: | For some of the previously cracked or emulated UPlay/Orbit games there were converts between different group releases and even the legit version but I don't know if Ubisoft ever changed the save format between games, Watch_Dogs 2 still uses UPlay and it's profile system for save data and as far as I know at least for earlier games it could be done with just a hex editor if you knew the ID you needed to change.
EDIT: Cs.rin.ru had more on that, I don't really remember the full process though I do remember some of the newer cracked games having more elaborate utilities to automatically convert a save from release A to release B which usually included one or two different groups (Having different profiles for the save data.) and UPlay itself for use with the legit version of said game. |
Thanks!
