So if it was something else(not porn) it wouldn't be "a new low" as the article claims?
I see nothing wrong with porn and using porn as a marketing tool for games(if it's doneproperly).. In this case it looks only bad coz the game is shit and gearbox is shit but the way the article is written gives a "OMG-they-officially-turned-to-PORN!! message as if porn is something bad and shameful.
Anyways, I hope this will be the last nail in the coffin of this studio of liers and greedy cunts.
Nah it's only accursed Christian totatilarian-clerical anti-human sexuality heritage that makes it shameful.Thankfully we are moving past that in many progressive countries but there is still lots of work to be done. Alas, a new enemy has risen.. Femi-nazis..
What's degrading? Fucking for money and (often) having a good time doing this? Jeez. We clearly have different ideas on what is degrading.
I don't consider porn actors degrading. I don't think students(or not) working as webcam girls\boys or escorts is degrading. I don't consider the work of all these men, women and couples on pornhub verified amateurs degrading. As long as it is consensual, as long as there is no pressure involved, as long as everyone understands what they are doing and is Ok with that and honest with each other and others there is nothing degrading about this aspect of human life. Forced prostitution is degrading.Pimping is degrading.Cheating is degrading. Hurting others is degrading.
All the countless heinous acts commited in the name of "morality" and "values" throughout the history of humankind especially by Abrahamic cultists now that is truly degrading.Ironically enough, millions and millions watch and like to watch others fucking..Shouldn't it be more "degrading" than making porn? It actually brings to mind a funny stats in regard to porn in countries like Palestine, Iran, Saudi Arabia, I mean the ones where jihadists protecting morals, values and shit reign supreme.
I enjoyed the co-op missions in Battleborn, had some fun with friends in the boss battles, etc. Picked up some copies on PS4 when they were like $6 awhile ago..
Was this an attempt from pitchfork to try to remind people that the game actually exists? Seems like he read about overwatch porn today and went "...wait a minute "

Battleborn has had 3.5 million players. This was actually stated in a discussion of how the game was ultimately a failure. As for how he's counting, I don't know if that includes the beta, but that was only 2 million players. Please note, that's not a sales number.
By comparison, the Borderlands series is over 30 million copies shipped. This is up from 26 million in April 2016 (per Take-Two's fiscal report).
Randy talks a lot about the issues Battleborn faced and how they thought this might end poorly once Overwatch's date was announced, but that they didn't have much flexibility in delaying.
Randy's hope with Battleborn was that they were going to be the only game doing the thing they did when they came out, and that while he feels Overwatch and Battleborn are pretty different once you dig into them, they look pretty similar on the surface, which was a huge issue for Battleborn.
He also talks about how Blizzard is a really top tier developer that everyone aspires to be, and how it's going to be incredibly hard to compete with them on quality. He mentions how it was probably a mistake to make a campaign and competitive multiplayer at the same time, especially while also having to figure a lot new gameplay setups for their MOBA-FPS hybrid idea. He compares that to Blizzard, who made a multiplayer only game that was based on concepts from Team Fortress 2, and then added a ton of innovation, quality, and polish, ending up with the notably better experience. To note, the context makes it clear that he really likes Overwatch and actually thinks this was a better idea, as opposed to this being some side angle slight.
He says he can't really comment on Battleborn's financial performance, because Take-Two is a publicly traded company and has to be the one to make those announcements from a legal perspective, but he assures Glixel that the game didn't cause Gearbox any financial issues. That's not to say it made money, mind, but the sentiment is that it wasn't a complete disaster.
Gearbox has several new projects in development with Take-Two/2K. We know one is Borderlands 3.
Another is Gearbox Quebec's game. Randy says this will be announced in 2017, and is a re-imagining of one of their existing IPs. This is implied as a separate game from Borderlands 3. Given Gearbox's job postings list their IPs as Borderlands, Battleborn, and Brothers In Arms, Its probably Brothers In Arms.
Randy also commented on the Switch There's a bit more in the article about this.
It also has an ape. Trust me, when THAT sneaks in it's not something that can be unseen.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Take-Two teases “highly-anticipated new title from one of 2K’s biggest franchises” for fiscal 2019
Quote:
Take-Two Interactive teased a “highly-anticipated new title from one of 2K’s biggest franchises” due out between April 1, 2018 and March 31, 2019 in its fiscal year 2017 results report released today.
The tease comes from the following paragraph:
Quote:
“That said, we still expect fiscal 2018 to be a year of strong earnings and cash provided by operating activities for Take-Two, despite an unusually light release slate, driven by new releases of NBA 2K and WWE 2K, our robust catalog led by Grand Theft Auto, and innovative offerings designed to drive engagement and recurrent consumer spending. Looking ahead to fiscal 2019, we expect to deliver both record Net Sales and record net cash provided by operating activities, in excess of $2.5 billion and $700 million, respectively, led by the launches of Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 and a highly anticipated new title from one of 2K’s biggest franchises.”
Since I already own the game I hope that if they do go F2P that they will give current owners all the characters and just have the cosmetics be micro transactions for us. It might get me to actually try the game, other then the 15 minutes I have spent on it doing the tutorial.
